kharagpur, A Blood donation camp has been organised by the NSS, NCC, TC, IQAC of Kharagpur College in association with KVBDO on 72nd birthday of college which was founded on 29th august 1949 by Prof. Himanshu bhusan Sarkar, the Founder Principal on a land donated by Saleha Khatun. Total 51 donors including Ex Deputy Director of DRDO and an Alumni of the college Dr. Ramjoy kumar Pal also donated blood.

NTS of the Year 2018-19- Rajaram Murmu, NTS of the Year 2019-20 Ratanlal Ghosh were honoured. Best student award for Arts, Science, Commerce & BA General, 4 best NCC cadets for 2018-19 were awarded. “Due to pandemic we organised the ceremony briefly by maintaining social distance” said Dr.Bidyut kumar Samanta, Principal, kharagpur college. Casual Non teaching staff also participated actively in the Blood donation camp.GB President Prof. Anjan chaki and GB Member Prof. Tapan Kumar Pal were also present to grace the occasion.
