रोजगार मेला में शनिवार को देश भर में कुल 75000 लोगों को दी जाएगी सरकारी नौकरी में नियुक्ति, खड़गपुर में 200 लोगों को, प्रधानमंत्री मोदी करेंगे वर्चुअल संबोधन

प्रधान मंत्री की दिशानिर्देश में देशभर के विभिन्न विभागों के रिक्त पड़े पदों की अभियान चलाकर युद्धस्तर पर बहाली पूर्ण की जाएगी . इस अभियान को रोजगार मेला कहा जा रहा है जिसमें बहाल हुए प्रत्याशियों के साथ प्रधान मंत्री वर्चुअल माध्यम से संवाद भी करेंगे जो कि देशभर के 50 अलग – अलग स्थानों पर व्यवस्थित होगी जिसका दायित्व रेल मंत्रालय एवं डाक विभाग द्वारा उठाया गया है . यह कार्यक्रम 22 अक्टुबर दिन 11 बजे आरंभ होगी . इस अभियान में 75,000 प्रत्याशी रेल मंत्रालय , डाक विभाग , कर विभाग , रक्षा विभाग , वित्त सेवा विभाग एवं श्रम व रोजगार मंत्रालय के तहत बहाल होंगे . इस क्रम में वर्चुअल संवाद के लिए द.पू. रेलवे की खड़गपुर व रांची का चुनाव किया गया है खड़गपुर के सूपरवायजर्स ट्रेनिंग सेंटर( STC ) में यह कार्यक्रम 22 अक्टुबर सुबह 9.30 से शुरु होगा.
नीशीथ प्रमाणिक माननीय केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री , गृह , युवा मामले व क्रीडा मंत्री . खड़गपुर के निर्दिष्ट कार्यक्रमस्थल पर उपस्थित रहेंगे और वहां विभिन्‍न विभाग के 200 नव नियुक्त प्रत्याशियों को नियुक्ति पत्र प्रदान करेंगे .
गौर तलब है कि विभिन्न सरकारी महकमों में 10 लाख रिक्त पद की नियुक्तियां का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।  जून ’22 में माननीय प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा की गई , विभिन्‍न सरकारी महकमों के संसाधनो की समीक्षा के पश्चात ही उजागर हुई है . नतीजतन विभिन्‍न मंत्रालय के मंत्री माननीय प्रधानमंत्री के दिशानिर्देश अनुसार केंद्रीय सरकार की लाखो रिक्त पदों की भरपाई के लिए पहलकदमी शुरु कर चुके हैं . सारे ही रिक्त पड़े पदों पर नई नियुक्तियां कर , आगामी एक-डेढ वर्ष पूर्ण कर दिया जाएगा .

Brief on ‘Rozgar Mela

Several Government initiatives have created an ecosystem for entrepreneurship and self-employment; India’s focus on infrastructure and connectivity, have a multiplier effect on country.
Besides above initiatives, various flagship programmes of the Government such as Digital India, Smart City Mission, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation, Housing for All, Infrastructure Development and Industrial Corridors have also significantly contributed towards generating employment opportunities and attracting Investments in various sectors.

Yet another milestone of the Government, in the series of initiatives towards employment generation is to provide Government jobs to 10 lakh youth in the country. The entire target of providing 10 lakh jobs will be completed in a time bound manner in the next 12 months.

India is celebrating completion of 75 years of Independence. It has been decided that approximately 75,000 appointment letters are to be issued on 22.10.2022 as a first tranche. This process of appointment of 75000 officials every month will be continued for the next one year to complete the target of 10 lakh (Das lakh) appointments.

Recruitment will take place across all Ministries/Departments/ PSUs/Autonomous Bodies/Education and Health Institutions etc.

Recruitments are being done by Min/Dept either by themselves or through Recruiting agencies such as UPSC, Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Recruitment for Railways is done by Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) and Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC). SSC is the major recruitment agency for central government posts.
Various steps are being taken for compressing recruitment timelines by SSC, some of which are:
Net increase of 60% in capacity of conducting computer-based exams by increasing the number of examination shifts from 3 to 4 and overbooking of nodes by 20%.
Reducing the number of examination tiers to maximum 2. (For example: Exams for MTS recruitment reduced from 2 to 1), thereby reducing time taken for recruitment.
Simplified document validation leveraging technology (use of Digilocker, Aadhar based verification, etc.)
Document verification to be done only once by the Min/Dept.

The appointments are being done for the posts of Group –A, Group –B (Gazetted), Group –B (Non-Gazetted), and Group –C. However, majority of the posts are in Group B and Group C. Some of these posts are as under:

Railways: Assistant Loco Pilot, Technicians Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) (Includes Guard, station master, Time keeper, Clerk, Traffic Assistant) etc.
Home: Assit. Commissioner (AC) Sub Inspector (SI) Constable etc.
Posts: LDC-PA Wing, Postal Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, Inspector Posts etc.
Revenue: Assist. Commissioner, Inspector, Examiner, Preventive Officer, Stenographer, Jr. Translator, CRCL Chemical Assistant, Income Tax Inspector Tax Assistant, Stenographer, MTS, Hawaldar, Sub Inspector, CRCL Lab Assistant, ITI, Sr TA, TA, OS, NS, Steno & others etc.

Defence: Scientist, Asst Ex-Engineer, AEE, Sr Draughtsman, DRT Cadre, JE/Supervisor, ASO, Tradesman Mate, Civilian Motor Driver, MTS, LDC, Chowkidar & UDC etc.
Others: Bank Officers, Teachers/Lectures/ Nurses etc.
Out of the target of approximately 10 lakh, approximately 75000 candidates are to be given appointments in the first tranche on 22/10/2022.

The new appointee will join the Government and serve the nation and will be witness to India@47 and play a significant role in nation building.

They will be involved in the task of building New India with innovative ideas, cutting edge technology and public participation.
