नई शिक्षा नीति से विद्यार्थियों को लाभ, विषय चुनने के लिए कई विकल्प उपलब्ध : प्राचार्य संतोष कुमार बल

राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के सफल 3 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष में आज 28 जुलाई 2023 को केंद्रीय विद्यालय क्रमांक 1 भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान खड़गपुर में पत्रकार सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया।

प्राचार्य श्री संतोष कुमार बल ने  पत्रकारों को राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि नई राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति बुनियादी साक्षरता पर केंद्रित है नई नीति के  5 + 3 + 3 + 4 शिक्षा व्यवस्था है। नई नीति विद्यार्थियों को विषय चयन की स्वतंत्रता प्रदान करने के अवसर देती है विद्यार्थियों का सर्वांगीण विकास तथा  कौशल विकास इसका मूल उद्देश्य है जिससे हमारा समाज हमारा देश निरंतर सशक्त हो और हम आगे बढ़े यह नीति सीखने की एक ऐसी संस्कृति का निर्माण करती है जो जीवन को पूर्णता प्रदान करें ।

उन्होंने पत्रकारों के सवालों का जवाब देते हुए कहा कि नई खोली में नए भवन का निर्माण कार्य पूरा होते ही कक्षाएं नए भवन में चलेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि केवी संगठन बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए खेलकूद को बढ़ावा देती है है।खड़गपुर के विभिन्न केवी में  स्पोर्ट्स इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर डेवलपमेंट किया जा रहा है।

नई शिक्षा नीति मैं इस बात पर विशेष बल दिया गया है कि प्रत्येक बच्चा अपने आप में विशिष्ट है प्रत्येक बच्चे में विशिष्ट प्रतिभा छुपी हुई है उसे तराश कर बाहर लाना तथा उसको अवसर प्रदान करना हमारा लक्ष्य होना चाहिए 

प्राचार्य ने केंद्रीय विद्यालय संगठन की शुरुआत से लेकर अब तक के सफर व सफलता पर विशेष जानकारी प्रस्तुत की

एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत, आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव, निपुण, आरटीआई, पीएम श्री योजना, विद्यालय में प्रवेश की प्रक्रिया, बाल वाटिका कक्षाओं की शुरुआत और उद्देश्य, खेलकूद के अवसर ,ड्राइंग पेंटिंग, विज्ञान, कला, संगीत, शिक्षकों एवं प्राचार्य के लिए प्रशिक्षण आदि विषयो पर पत्रकारों के सवालों का जवाब दिया।

राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के 3 वर्ष पूर्ण होने और क्रियान्वयन की सफलता के लिए सभी की सहभागिता को धन्यवाद कहां।

नई राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति राष्ट्र के विकास में एक वरदान सिद्ध होगी उप प्राचार्य श्री चंद्रशेखर सिंह, तथा विकास कुमार झा उप प्राचार्य नवोदय विद्यालय मेदिनीपुर, विद्यालय के छात्र तथा शिक्षक उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर पर स्कूली बच्चों ने विद्यालय प्रांगण में वृक्षारोपण भी किया.

 

REPORT ON 3RD ANNIVERSARY OF NEP-2020

A press conference was organized at KV IIT Kharagpur to celebrate ‘Three years of the National Education Policy 2020’. Mr. Santosh Kumar Bal, Principal KV IIT Kharagpur; Mr. Chandrasekhar Singh, Vice-principal KV IIT Kharagpur; Vikas Kumar Jha, Vice-Principal JNV Midnapore were present at the press meet. Students from different classes were also present in the conference.

Elaborating on how NEP has made way for flexibility in school education. Mr. Santosh Kumar Bal went on to state that students will now have greater freedom to choose courses from across disciplines. Being child centric it bring out the unique capabilities of every child. The effort of Kendriya Vidyalayas is to create a schooling system that nurtures creative and critical thinking.

In alignment with the recommendation of NEP-2020, the age of admission in Class-I was revised to 6+ years from the academic year 2022-23 in all the Kendriya Vidyalayas.

Various Initiatives undertaken by KV IIT Kharagpur are as follows:-

• Tracking of the progress of students of classes I,II,III in terms of the attainment of ‘Lakshyas’ under the NIPUN initiative is being monitored by recording the same.
• Vidya Pravesh – NCERT has developed a 3 months play based ‘School Preparation Module’ for grade-I named Vidya Pravesh which is being implemented in all KV’s across the country.
• Introduction of vocational & skill training – class VIII onwards.
• Introduction of Balvatika, as outlined in NEP-2020 has also been implemented.

He informed the media persons that one special educator & a counselor have been appointed to cater to the needs of CWSN and mental health of children.

The Principal also added that the vision of NEP is to transform India into a global knowledge superpower through broad-based, flexible and multi-disciplinary education system and as a part of Kendriya Vidyalaya we all are working towards it.
