गेटबाजार में कपड़ा दुकान में आग, लाखों के मेंस वियर जलकर राख, दमकल के प्रयास से आग में पाया गया काबू  

 

खड़गपुर, गेटबाजार में कपड़ा दुकान में आग लग जाने से लाखों के मेंस वियर जलकर राख हो गए। जानकारी के मुताबिक गेटबाजार के वर्कशाप-अरोरा सिनेमा लाइन में स्थित कपड़े की दुकान में मंगलवार की देर रात आग लग गई जिससे दुकान में रखे स्टाक जल कर राख हो गए।

 

खबर मिलने पर लगभग रात के साढ़े बारह बजे दमकल की एक गाड़ी आकर घंटे भर मशक्कत कर आग में काबू पाया अन्यथा आग आसपास के दुकान में भी भड़क सकती थी दुकानदारों का कहना है कि नाइट गार्ड ने आग देख खबर दी तो आसपास के दुकानदार भी घटनास्थल में पहुंच गए। दुकानदार चिरंजीत घोष का कहना है कि लगभग साढ़े तीन लाख रु के रेडीमेड कपड़े थे जो कि जल गए आग लगने के कारण का पता नहीं चल पाया है।

चिरंजीत का कहना है कि दुकान के फर्नीचर में प्लास्टिक का प्रयोग होने के कारण आग ज्यादा भड़की उसका कहना है कि ताला खुलने में भी थोड़ी दिक्कत थी जिससे नुकसान ज्यादा हुआ। पता चला है कि सुभाषपल्ली के रहने वाले चिरंजीत परिवार के साथ शहर से बाहर है व 2 मार्च को खड़गपुर वापस लौटेंगे।

Men’s wear worth lakhs was burnt to ashes due to fire in a textile shop at Gatebazar in Kharagpur. According to the information, a fire broke out in a clothes shop located in Workshop-Aurora Cinema Line of Gatebazar late on Tuesday night due to which the stocks kept in the shop were burnt to ashes.

 

On receiving the news, at about 12.30 in the night, a fire brigade arrived and worked hard for an hour to control the fire, otherwise the fire could have spread to the nearby shops as well. Shopkeepers say that when the night guard informed about the fire, the nearby shopkeepers also reached the spot. Reached in. Shopkeeper Chiranjeet Ghosh says that there were readymade clothes worth about three and a half lakh rupees which were burnt.

 

The reason for the fire has not been known. Chiranjeet says that the fire broke out more due to the use of plastic in the furniture of the shop. He  said that there was some problem in opening the lock due to which the loss was more.

It has been learned that Chiranjeet, a resident of Subhashpally out of the city with his family.
