रेल टिकट दलाली के आरोप में एक गिरफ्तार
तामलुक स्टेशन पर दलाली के विरुद्ध आरपीएफ का अभियान
08.09.2025 को, रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (आरपीएफ) ने तामलुक रेलवे स्टेशन के यात्री आरक्षण प्रणाली (पीआरएस) काउंटर पर दलाली गतिविधियों को लक्षित करते हुए ऑपरेशन “उपलब्ध” के अंतर्गत एक विशेष अभियान चलाया। यह अभियान वास्तविक यात्रियों के लिए रेलवे टिकटों की उचित पहुँच सुनिश्चित करने और कालाबाज़ारी पर अंकुश लगाने के उद्देश्य से चलाया गया था।
अभियान के दौरान, पीआरएस काउंटर के पास एक व्यक्ति संदिग्ध गतिविधियों में लिप्त पाया गया और उसे सत्यापन 
लिए पकड़ लिया गया। पूछताछ करने पर, व्यक्ति की पहचान अंकन जेना, 20 वर्ष, निवासी दखिनचरा, शंकरारा, डाकघर-तामलुक, जिला पूर्व मेदिनीपुर (पश्चिम बंगाल) के रूप में हुई।
तलाशी लेने पर, उसके पास से निम्नलिखित वस्तुएँ बरामद हुईं:
एक तत्काल लाइव काउंटर टिकट।
एक भरा हुआ और एक अधूरा आरक्षण अनुरोध पत्र।
₹1,000/- की नकदी
प्रारंभिक जाँच से पता चला है कि पकड़ा गया व्यक्ति दलाली के उद्देश्य से रेलवे टिकटों की अवैध खरीद में लिप्त था, जिससे वास्तविक यात्रियों को कन्फर्म टिकट पाने के उचित अवसर से वंचित होना पड़ा। ऐसे कृत्य रेलवे अधिनियम में परिभाषित दंडनीय अपराधों की श्रेणी में आते हैं।
तदनुसार, गिरफ्तार व्यक्ति के विरुद्ध रेलवे अधिनियम की धारा 143 के अंतर्गत आरपीएफ/पोस्ट तामलुक में मामला दर्ज किया गया है। जब्त की गई वस्तुओं को साक्ष्य के रूप में अपने कब्जे में ले लिया गया है।
यह कार्रवाई दलाली से निपटने और यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कि रेलवे सेवाओं का निजी मुनाफाखोरी के लिए उपयोग न किया जाए, ऑपरेशन “उपलब्ध” के तहत आरपीएफ के निरंतर और समन्वित प्रयासों का हिस्सा है। यात्रियों से आग्रह है कि वे हमेशा अधिकृत माध्यमों, जैसे कि आईआरसीटीसी ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म और पीआरएस काउंटर, के माध्यम से टिकट बुक करें और किसी भी संदिग्ध दलाली गतिविधि की सूचना आरपीएफ या रेलवे अधिकारियों को दें।
RPF Operation against Touting at Tamluk Station
On 08.09.2025, Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducted a special operation under Operation “UPALABDH” targeting touting activities at the Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counter of Tamluk Railway Station. The drive was undertaken with the objective of ensuring fair access to railway tickets for genuine passengers and curbing black-marketing practices.
During the operation, one person was found indulging in suspicious activities near the PRS counter and was apprehended for verification. On questioning, the individual was identified as Ankan Jena, 20 years, resident of Dakhinchara, Sankarara, PO+PS-Tamluk, District Purba Medinipur (West Bengal).
Upon search, the following articles were recovered from his possession:
One Tatkal live counter ticket.
One filled and one unfilled reservation requisition form.
Cash amounting to ₹1,000/-
Preliminary enquiry established that the apprehended individual was engaged in illegal procurement of railway tickets for the purpose of touting, thereby depriving genuine passengers of fair chances of securing confirmed tickets. Such acts fall under the ambit of punishable offences as defined in the Railways Act.
Accordingly, a case has been registered at RPF/Post Tamluk under Section 143 of the Railways Act against the arrested person. The seized articles have been taken into custody as material evidence.
This action is part of RPF’s continuous and coordinated efforts under Operation “UPALABDH” to combat touting and ensure that railway services are not exploited for personal profiteering. Passengers are urged to always book tickets through authorised channels, including IRCTC online platforms and PRS counters, and to report any suspected touting activities to RPF or Railway authorities.
