ADRM (Infra) Conducts Comprehensive Inspection at Kharagpur Railway Station

Today, Shri Debjit Das, the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infrastructure), Kharagpur Division, conducted a detailed Service Improvement Group (SIG) Inspection at Kharagpur Railway Station to assess the overall condition of passenger amenities and operational infrastructure.

During the inspection, special attention was given to the following key areas:

Passenger Amenities: All essential facilities including waiting rooms, drinking water points, seating arrangements, signage, and cleanliness of platforms were reviewed to ensure optimum service to passengers.

Railway Offices and Stalls: Functioning of departmental offices and commercial stalls was inspected to check adherence to prescribed norms and service quality standards.

Encroachment Check: Unauthorized items kept on Platform No. 2 were identified and seized as part of an ongoing drive to maintain safety, order, and hygiene on station premises.

Shri Das, emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean, accessible, and safe environment for passengers and instructed concerned officials to take immediate corrective actions wherever required. He emphasized timely action on deficiencies noted during the inspection and stressed the importance of coordinated efforts by all departments to improve service delivery and passenger satisfaction.

Divisional Officers from Commercial, Operating, Engineering, Electrical, Signal, and Security Departments, were also a part of the SIG inspection group and they jointly reviewed various aspects of station functioning.

Such inspections are a part of Indian Railways’ continuous efforts to enhance station facilities and improve passenger experience across the network.

आज श्री देबजीत दास, अपर मंडल रेल प्रबंधक (इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर), खड़गपुर मंडल द्वारा सेवा सुधार समूह (Service Improvement Group – SIG) के अंतर्गत खड़गपुर रेलवे स्टेशन का विस्तृत निरीक्षण किया गया। इस निरीक्षण का उद्देश्य यात्रियों को प्रदान की जा रही सुविधाओं और परिचालनिक ढांचे की समग्र स्थिति का मूल्यांकन करना था।

निरीक्षण के दौरान निम्नलिखित मुख्य बिंदुओं पर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया:

यात्री सुविधाएं: प्रतीक्षालय, पेयजल की उपलब्धता, बैठने की व्यवस्था, साइनबोर्ड एवं प्लेटफॉर्म की सफाई जैसी मूलभूत सुविधाओं की बारीकी से जांच की गई ताकि यात्रियों को सर्वोत्तम सेवा मिल सके।

कार्यालय एवं स्टॉल: विभागीय कार्यालयों एवं वाणिज्यिक स्टॉलों का निरीक्षण कर उनकी कार्यप्रणाली एवं सेवा गुणवत्ता का मूल्यांकन किया गया।

अतिक्रमण हटाव अभियान: प्लेटफॉर्म संख्या 2 पर रखी गई अवैध वस्तुओं की पहचान कर जब्त किया गया, ताकि स्टेशन परिसर को सुरक्षित, स्वच्छ और व्यवस्थित बनाया जा सके।

निरीक्षण के दौरान श्री दास ने यात्रियों को एक स्वच्छ, सुरक्षित और सुलभ वातावरण प्रदान करने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों को चिन्हित कमियों को शीघ्र सुधारने के निर्देश दिए और विभागों के बीच बेहतर समन्वय की आवश्यकता को रेखांकित किया ताकि सेवा स्तर में निरंतर सुधार सुनिश्चित किया जा सके।

वाणिज्य, परिचालन, इंजीनियरिंग, विद्युत, सिगनल एवं सुरक्षा विभागों के मंडल अधिकारी भी इस SIG निरीक्षण में उपस्थित थे और उन्होंने स्टेशन की विभिन्न व्यवस्थाओं की संयुक्त रूप से समीक्षा की।

इस प्रकार के निरीक्षण भारतीय रेल द्वारा यात्रियों को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने एवं संपूर्ण यात्रा अनुभव को सुदृढ़ करने के निरंतर प्रयासों का हिस्सा हैं।

DRM Kharagpur Inspects Kharagpur–Rupsa–Bangriposi Section; Reviews Amrit Station Works

Shri K.R. Chaudhary, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Kharagpur Division, today conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Kharagpur–Rupsa–Bangriposi (KGP–ROP–BGY) section, focusing on the progress of ongoing development projects and infrastructure upgrades.

During the inspection, DRM visited Betnoti and Baripada stations to assess the development works being carried out under the Amrit Station Scheme, which aims to significantly upgrade passenger amenities and station infrastructure. The inspection covered key areas such as the panel rooms, circulating areas, and the ongoing subway construction at Betnoti.

The DRM also inspected various level crossing gates and bridges along the route, including LC Gate No. 42 between Bhanjpur and Bangriposi, to review safety arrangements and operational efficiency.

Further, inspections were carried out at Buramara and Bangriposi stations to evaluate yard modification works, aimed at enhancing train handling capacity and improving train operations in the region.

At Jaleswar station, the DRM reviewed the progress of Amrit Station development works and provided necessary guidance and directives to the concerned officials and supervisors for the timely and quality execution of all ongoing projects.

Emphasis was laid on the inspection of passenger amenities and safety infrastructure across the section, reaffirming the commitment of Indian Railways to provide safer, more comfortable, and modern facilities to passengers.

अमृत भारत स्टेशन योजना के कार्यों की समीक्षा।

श्री के. आर. चौधरी , मंडल रेल प्रबंधक (डीआरएम) खड़गपुर ने आज खड़गपुर–रूपसा–बांगरिपोसी रेल खंड का व्यापक निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान डीआरएम ने इस सेक्शन में चल रहे अमृत भारत स्टेशन योजना के तहत विकास कार्यों और आधारभूत संरचनाओं के उन्नयन की प्रगति की समीक्षा की।

निरीक्षण के दौरान डीआरएम ने बेतनोटी और बारिपदा स्टेशनों का दौरा किया, जहां उन्होंने स्टेशन के सर्कुलेटिंग एरिया, पैनल रूम और निर्माणाधीन सबवे का निरीक्षण किया।

डीआरएम ने मार्ग में पड़ने वाले कई लेवल क्रॉसिंग (एलसी) गेट और पुलों का भी निरीक्षण किया, जिनमें विशेष रूप से एलसी गेट संख्या 42 (भंजपुर और बांगरिपोसी के बीच) शामिल रहा, जहाँ सुरक्षा इंतज़ामों की गहन समीक्षा की गई।

इसके अलावा, बुरामारा और बांगरिपोसी स्टेशनों में यार्ड मॉडिफिकेशन कार्यों का भी निरीक्षण किया गया, जिससे ट्रेन परिचालन क्षमता में वृद्धि सुनिश्चित की जा सके।

डीआरएम ने जलेश्वर स्टेशन में अमृत भारत स्टेशन योजना के तहत चल रहे कार्यों की भी समीक्षा की और संबंधित अधिकारियों व पर्यवेक्षकों को समयबद्ध व गुणवत्तापूर्ण कार्य पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिए।

निरीक्षण के दौरान पूरे सेक्शन में यात्री सुविधाओं और सुरक्षा उपकरणों की भी बारीकी से जांच की गई। डीआरएम ने सभी विकास कार्यों को निर्धारित समयसीमा के भीतर पूर्ण करने का निर्देश दिया।
