रेलवे बोर्ड के सदस्य (ट्रैक्शन रोलिंग स्टॉक) श्री ब्रज मोहन अग्रवाल ने आज टिकियापाड़ा कार शेड का दौरा किया और एम-5 सेक्शन में पूर्णतः स्वचालित ईपी ब्रेक टेस्ट बेंच का उद्घाटन किया। यह उन्नत सुविधा रोलिंग स्टॉक के लिए ब्रेक परीक्षण की सटीकता, सुरक्षा और दक्षता में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि करेगी, जिससे परिचालन विश्वसनीयता में सुधार होगा।

उद्घाटन समारोह में पूर्व रेलवे के प्रमुख मुख्य यांत्रिक इंजीनियर श्री प्रेमानंद शर्मा, दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे के प्रमुख मुख्य विद्युत इंजीनियर श्री नवीन कुमार, खड़गपुर मंडल की अपर मंडल रेल प्रबंधक (संचालन) सुश्री मनीषा गोयल और मुख्यालय एवं खड़गपुर मंडल के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में आयोजित किया गया।

निरीक्षण के दौरान, सदस्य (टीआरएस) ने नवनिर्मित सुविधा की परिचालन क्षमताओं की समीक्षा की और अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों के साथ बातचीत की तथा टिकियापाड़ा कार शेड में किए गए तकनीकी उन्नयन की सराहना की।

पूर्णतः स्वचालित ईपी ब्रेक टेस्ट बेंच का चालू होना रखरखाव प्रक्रियाओं में अत्याधुनिक तकनीक को अपनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है, जिससे यात्रियों के लिए तेज़ टर्नअराउंड और सुरक्षित ट्रेन संचालन सुनिश्चित होगा।

Inauguration of Fully Automated EP Brake Test Bench by Member (TRS), Railway Board at Tikiapara Car Shed

Member (Traction Rolling Stock), Railway Board, Shri Braj Mohan Agrawal visited Tikiapara Car Shed today and inaugurated the Fully Automated EP Brake Test Bench at the M-5 Section. This advanced facility will significantly enhance the precision, safety, and efficiency of brake testing for rolling stock, contributing to improved operational reliability.

The inauguration was held in the august presence of Shri Premanand Sharma, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, Eastern Railway, Shri Naveen Kumar, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer, South Eastern Railway, Ms. Maneesha Goel, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations), Kharagpur Division, and senior officers from Headquarters and Kharagpur Division.

During the inspection, Member (TRS) reviewed the operational capabilities of the newly commissioned facility and interacted with officers and staff, appreciating the technical upgrades undertaken at Tikiapara Car Shed.

The commissioning of the Fully Automated EP Brake Test Bench marks a key step towards adopting cutting-edge technology in maintenance practices, ensuring faster turnaround and safer train operations for passengers.
