खड़गपुर डिवीज़न ने स्पेशल टिकट चेकिंग ड्राइव चलाई

खड़गपुर, 29 नवंबर 2025:

साउथ ईस्टर्न रेलवे के खड़गपुर डिवीज़न ने शनिवार, 29 नवंबर 2025 को बिना टिकट यात्रा पर रोक लगाने और रेलवे टिकटिंग नियमों का सख्ती से पालन पक्का करने के लिए, पहचानी गई लंबी दूरी और पैसेंजर ट्रेनों में एक स्पेशल टिकट चेकिंग ड्राइव चलाई। यह ड्राइव कमर्शियल इंस्पेक्टर (CIs) और टिकट चेकिंग स्टाफ (TTEs) की डेडिकेटेड टीमों ने डिवीज़न के अलग-अलग सेक्शन में चलने वाली ट्रेन नंबर 22504, 12842, 12703, 12704, 12074, 12073, 12828, 12860 और 12841 पर चलाई।

स्पेशल ड्राइव के दौरान, टीमों ने बिना टिकट और अनियमित यात्रा के 274 मामले पकड़े। रेलवे के नियमों के अनुसार नियम तोड़ने वालों से कुल ₹2,29,880 का जुर्माना वसूला गया।

टिकट चेकिंग के साथ-साथ, बिना इजाज़त के वेंडिंग के खिलाफ भी निगरानी रखी गई। ऑपरेशन के दौरान, टीमों ने ट्रेन नंबर 12841 में और हावड़ा न्यू कॉम्प्लेक्स के एक स्टॉल पर बिना इजाज़त के पैकेज्ड ड्रिंकिंग वॉटर की बिक्री का पता लगाया। बिना इजाज़त के पैकेज्ड ड्रिंकिंग वॉटर के तीस (30) कार्टन ज़ब्त किए गए और गैर-कानूनी वेंडिंग में शामिल लोगों पर जुर्माना लगाया गया।

खड़गपुर डिवीजन कानूनी यात्रा पक्का करने, यात्रियों के हितों की रक्षा करने और ट्रेनों और रेलवे परिसरों में बिना इजाज़त कमर्शियल गतिविधियों को रोकने के लिए पक्का इरादा रखता है। इस तरह के खास एनफोर्समेंट ड्राइव नियमों का पालन बढ़ाने और यात्रियों के पूरे यात्रा अनुभव को बेहतर बनाने के लिए जारी रहेंगे।

Special Ticket Checking Drive Conducted by Kharagpur Division

Kharagpur, 29 November 2025:

Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway conducted a Special Ticket Checking Drive on Saturday, 29th November 2025, on identified long-distance and passenger trains to curb ticketless travel and ensure strict compliance with railway ticketing rules. The drive was carried out by dedicated teams of Commercial Inspectors (CIs) and Ticket Checking Staff (TTEs) on Train Nos. 22504, 12842, 12703, 12704, 12074, 12073, 12828, 12860 and 12841 operating over different sections of the division.

During the special drive, the teams detected 274 cases of ticketless and irregular travel. A total penalty of ₹2,29,880 was realised from the offenders as per Railway rules.

Along with ticket checking, vigilance against unauthorised vending was also undertaken. During the operation, the teams detected sale of unauthorised packaged drinking water onboard Train No. 12841 and at a stall in the Howrah New Complex. Thirty (30) cartons of unauthorised packaged drinking water were seized and penalties were imposed on the persons involved in illegal vending.

Kharagpur Division remains committed to ensuring lawful travel, protecting passenger interests and preventing unauthorised commercial activities on trains and railway premises.
