खड़गपुर, 10 जनवरी, 2026:
साउथ ईस्टर्न रेलवे के खड़गपुर डिवीज़न ने आज अपने अधिकार क्षेत्र में आने वाली कई ज़रूरी ट्रेनों और स्टेशनों पर एक स्पेशल टिकट चेकिंग ड्राइव चलाई ताकि बिना टिकट और अनियमित यात्रा पर रोक लगाई जा सके और रेलवे नियमों का पालन पक्का किया जा सके।
इस ड्राइव के दौरान, इन ट्रेनों में कड़ी टिकट चेकिंग की गई: 12703, 12704, 12074, 12073, 12828, 12860, 12813, 12871, 12021, 22892 और 12841।
इस ऑपरेशन के नतीजे में, बिना टिकट/अनियमित यात्रा के 339 मामले पकड़े गए और नियम तोड़ने वालों से कुल ₹2,23,130 का जुर्माना वसूला गया।
ऑनबोर्ड चेकिंग के अलावा, खड़गपुर (KGP), मिदनापुर (MDN), बालेश्वर (BLS), दीघा (DGHA), मेचेडा (MCA) और पूरे डिवीज़न के दूसरे स्टेशनों समेत बड़े स्टेशनों पर भी अच्छी तरह टिकट चेकिंग की गई।
खड़गपुर डिवीज़न असली यात्रियों के लिए बिना किसी परेशानी और कानूनी यात्रा पक्का करने के लिए पक्का इरादा रखता है। बिना टिकट यात्रा को रोकने और यात्रियों की सुविधाओं और सुरक्षा को बेहतर बनाने के लिए भविष्य में भी ऐसी ड्राइव जारी रहेंगी।
Special Ticket Checking Drive Conducted by Kharagpur Division
Kharagpur, January 10,2026:
Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway conducted a special ticket checking drive today across several important trains and stations under its jurisdiction to curb ticketless and irregular travel and to ensure compliance with railway rules.
During the drive, intensive ticket checks were carried out in the following trains: 12703, 12704, 12074, 12073, 12828, 12860, 12813, 12871, 12021, 22892 and 12841.
As a result of the operation, 339 cases of ticketless/irregular travel were detected and a total penalty of ₹2,23,130 was realised from the offenders.
In addition to onboard checks, intensive ticket checking was also conducted at major stations, including Kharagpur (KGP), Midnapore (MDN), Baleshwar (BLS), Digha (DGHA), Mecheda (MCA) and other stations across the division.
Kharagpur Division remains committed to ensuring hassle-free and lawful travel for genuine passengers. Such drives will continue in the future to discourage ticketless travel and to improve passenger amenities and safety
