खड़गपुर के डिविजनल रेलवे एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन और साउथ ईस्टर्न रेलवे मेन्स यूनियन (SERMU) के प्रतिनिधियों के बीच 15 जनवरी 2026 को खड़गपुर में डिविजनल हेडक्वार्टर में एक परमानेंट नेगोशिएशन मशीनरी (PNM) मीटिंग सफलतापूर्वक हुई। यह मीटिंग रेलवे कर्मचारियों की भलाई से जुड़े अलग-अलग स्टाफ से जुड़े मुद्दों, शिकायतों और पॉलिसी मामलों पर चर्चा करने और उन्हें हल करने के लिए बुलाई गई थी।
मीटिंग की अध्यक्षता खड़गपुर के डिविजनल रेलवे मैनेजर (DRM) श्री ललित मोहन पांडे ने की और इसमें पर्सनल, इंजीनियरिंग, कमर्शियल, मेडिकल, मैकेनिकल, इलेक्ट्रिकल और ऑपरेटिंग समेत अलग-अलग डिपार्टमेंट के सीनियर डिविजनल अधिकारी शामिल हुए। SERMU डेलीगेशन को उसकी डिविजनल लीडरशिप टीम ने लीड किया।

चर्चा एक अच्छे और अच्छे माहौल में हुई, जिसमें ट्रांसपेरेंट कम्युनिकेशन और मिलकर प्रॉब्लम सॉल्व करने पर फोकस किया गया। DRM ने सेफ्टी और परफॉर्मेंस के ऊंचे स्टैंडर्ड बनाए रखते हुए रेलवे कर्मचारियों की भलाई पक्का करने के लिए एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन के कमिटमेंट पर ज़ोर दिया।
SERMU के रिप्रेजेंटेटिव ने एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन द्वारा उठाए जा रहे प्रोएक्टिव कदमों की तारीफ़ की और कर्मचारियों और ऑर्गनाइज़ेशन दोनों के फायदे के लिए मिलकर काम करने के लक्ष्यों को पाने में अपना सपोर्ट दोहराया।
मीटिंग दोनों तरफ से वर्कफोर्स की बेहतरी और अच्छे रेल ऑपरेशन के लिए मिलकर काम करते रहने के भरोसे के साथ खत्म हुई।
PNM Meeting Held Between Kharagpur Divisional Railway Administration and SERMU
Kharagpur, January 15th , 2026:
A Permanent Negotiation Machinery (PNM) meeting was successfully conducted on 15TH January 2026 between the Divisional Railway Administration of Kharagpur and representatives of the South Eastern Railway Men’s Union (SERMU) at the Divisional Headquarters in Kharagpur. The meeting was convened to discuss and resolve various staff-related issues, grievances, and policy matters pertaining to the welfare of railway employees.
The meeting was chaired by Shri Lalit Mohan Pandey, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Kharagpur, and was attended by senior divisional officers from various departments including Personnel, Engineering, Commercial, Medical, Mechanical, Electrical, and Operating. The SERMU delegation was led by its divisional leadership team.
Key Issues Discussed:
Staff welfare measures.
Regularization of contractual staff
Timely payment of allowances and arrears
Provision of improved amenities at crew lobbies and rest houses
Safety-related issues and training programs for frontline staff
Infrastructure maintenance and modernization at depots and stations
The discussions were held in a constructive and cordial atmosphere with a focus on transparent communication and cooperative problem-solving. The DRM emphasized the administration’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of railway employees while maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
SERMU representatives appreciated the proactive steps being taken by the administration and reiterated their support in achieving collective goals for the benefit of both employees and the organization.
