RPF ने रेलवे टिकट दलाली के खिलाफ़ कार्रवाई तेज़ की
खड़गपुर डिवीजन के रेलवे प्रोटेक्शन फोर्स (RPF) ने यात्रियों को रेलवे टिकटिंग सेवाओं तक निष्पक्ष और पारदर्शी पहुँच सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अवैध दलाली गतिविधियों के खिलाफ़ अपना अभियान तेज़ कर दिया है।
सोरो रेलवे स्टेशन पर कार्रवाई:
- 16.03.2026 को, विश्वसनीय सूचना के आधार पर, पोस्ट कमांडर/RPF/बालेश्वर की देखरेख में RPF आउटपोस्ट सोरो और CIB खड़गपुर ने सोरो रेलवे स्टेशन के PRS काउंटर पर छापा मारा और घात लगाकर जाँच की। ऑपरेशन के दौरान, एक व्यक्ति संदिग्ध रूप से घूमता हुआ पाया गया और बाद में उसे तत्काल घंटों के दौरान टिकट बुक करते समय हिरासत में लिया गया। उसकी पहचान ओडिशा के भद्रक जिले के निवासी श्रीकांत पारही (27 वर्ष) के रूप में हुई। 3,370/-, एक खाली आरक्षण मांग पत्र और 1,120/- रुपये नकद बरामद कर जब्त कर लिया गया। चूंकि वह कोई वैध प्राधिकार या लाइसेंस दिखाने में विफल रहा, इसलिए उसे रेलवे अधिनियम के संबंधित प्रावधानों के तहत गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। आरपीएफ पोस्ट बालेश्वर में रेलवे अधिनियम की धारा 143 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है।
तामलुक रेलवे स्टेशन पर कार्रवाई:
उसी दिन, यानी 16.03.2026 को, पोस्ट कमांडर/आरपीएफ/तमलुक की देखरेख में आरपीएफ पोस्ट तमलुक और सीआईबी खड़गपुर द्वारा तमलुक रेलवे स्टेशन के पीआरएस काउंटर पर एक और दलाली विरोधी अभियान चलाया गया। अभियान के दौरान, एक व्यक्ति को संदिग्ध रूप से टिकट खरीदते समय हिरासत में लिया गया और उसकी पहचान पश्चिम बंगाल के पुरबा मेदिनीपुर निवासी बीरेन दास (34 वर्ष) के रूप में हुई। 1,995/-, एक खाली रिज़र्वेशन रिक्विजिशन फ़ॉर्म, और Rs. 305/- कैश बरामद करके ज़ब्त कर लिया गया। उसे रेलवे एक्ट की धारा 143 के तहत गिरफ़्तार कर लिया गया। RPF पोस्ट तमलुक में केस दर्ज किया गया है, और आरोपी को आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए CJM, तमलुक की माननीय कोर्ट में भेज दिया गया है।
RPF Intensifies Crackdown on Railway Ticket Touting

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Kharagpur Division has intensified its drive against illegal touting activities to ensure fair and transparent access to railway ticketing services for passengers.
Action at Soro Railway Station:
On 16.03.2026, acting on reliable information, a raid-cum-ambush check was conducted at the PRS counter of Soro Railway Station by RPF Outpost Soro along with CIB Kharagpur under the supervision of Post Commander/RPF/Baleshwar. During the operation, one individual was found moving suspiciously and was later detained while booking tickets during Tatkal hours. He was identified as Srikanta Parhi (27 years), resident of Bhadrak district, Odisha.
On interrogation, he admitted to illegally procuring and supplying railway reservation tickets to customers in exchange for extra money. From his possession, two railway reservation tickets worth Rs. 3,370/-, one blank reservation requisition form, and cash amounting to Rs. 1,120/- were recovered and seized. As he failed to produce any valid authority or licence, he was arrested under relevant provisions of the Railway Act. A case under Section 143 of the Railway Act has been registered at RPF Post Baleshwar.
Action at Tamluk Railway Station:
On the same day, i.e., 16.03.2026, another anti-touting drive was conducted at the PRS counter of Tamluk Railway Station by RPF Post Tamluk along with CIB Kharagpur under the supervision of Post Commander/RPF/Tamluk. During the drive, one person was detained while suspiciously purchasing tickets and was identified as Biren Das (34 years), resident of Purba Medinipur, West Bengal.
He admitted to engaging in illegal procurement and sale of railway reservation tickets for personal gain. From his possession, two journey-cum-reservation tickets worth Rs. 1,995/-, one blank reservation requisition form, and cash amounting to Rs. 305/- were recovered and seized.
He was arrested under Section 143 of the Railway Act. A case has been registered at RPF Post Tamluk, and the accused has been forwarded to the Hon’ble Court of CJM, Tamluk for further legal proceedings.
