खड़गपुर में 5वीं अंतर विभागीय खेल प्रतियोगिता 2026 का शुभारंभ
खड़गपुर, दिनांक 19.03.2026:
सेरसा, खड़गपुर द्वारा आयोजित 5वीं अंतर विभागीय खेल प्रतियोगिता 2026 का आज शुभारंभ खड़गपुर मंडल के मंडल रेल प्रबंधक (DRM) श्री ललित मोहन पांडेय द्वारा अनिमेष कुमार गांगुली सेरसा स्टेडियम में किया गया। इस अवसर पर मंडल के वरिष्ठ अधिकारीगण एवं विभिन्न विभागों से आए प्रतिभागी उपस्थित रहे।
यह दो दिवसीय खेल प्रतियोगिता 19 एवं 20 मार्च 2026 को आयोजित की जा रही है, जिसमें ट्रैफिक, आरपीएफ, इंजीनियरिंग, मेडिकल, सामान्य प्रशासन, मैकेनिकल, सिग्नल एवं दूरसंचार (S&T), स्टोर्स, इलेक्ट्रिकल, पर्सनल तथा अकाउंट्स विभाग के टीम एवं व्यक्तिगत प्रतिभागी भाग ले रहे हैं।
प्रतियोगिता के अंतर्गत बैडमिंटन, वॉलीबॉल, कैरम, शतरंज, क्रिकेट, फुटबॉल तथा एथलेटिक्स जैसे विभिन्न खेलों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। एथलेटिक्स स्पर्धाओं में पुरुष एवं महिला वर्ग के लिए 100 मीटर एवं 400 मीटर दौड़, शॉटपुट, 5000 मीटर दौड़, 4×100 मीटर रिले दौड़ (पुरुष एवं महिला) तथा 4×400 मीटर रिले दौड़ (पुरुष) शामिल हैं।
प्रतियोगिता के पहले दिन प्रतिभागियों में उत्साह एवं खेल भावना का उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन देखने को मिला, जिसने विभिन्न विभागों के बीच आपसी सहयोग एवं स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा को बढ़ावा दिया।
शतरंज, कैरम, फुटबॉल, क्रिकेट, वॉलीबॉल एवं रिले दौड़ की फाइनल प्रतियोगिताएं कल, दिनांक 20 मार्च 2026 को आयोजित की जाएंगी।
इस खेल प्रतियोगिता का उद्देश्य रेलवे कर्मचारियों के बीच शारीरिक फिटनेस, आपसी सौहार्द एवं टीम भावना को प्रोत्साहित करना तथा खेल एवं स्वास्थ्य के प्रति
जागरूकता बढ़ाना है।
5th Inter Departmental Sports Carnival 2026 Inaugurated at Kharagpur

The 5th Inter Departmental Sports Carnival 2026, organized by SERSA Kharagpur, was inaugurated today by Shri Lalit Mohan Pandey, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Kharagpur, at Animesh Kumar Ganguly SERSA Stadium in the presence of senior Divisional officers and enthusiastic participants from various departments.
The two-day sports carnival is being held on 19th and 20th March 2026, bringing together teams and individual participants from multiple departments including Traffic, RPF, Engineering, Medical, General Administration, Mechanical, S&T, Stores, Electrical, Personnel, and Accounts.
A wide range of sporting events are being conducted during the carnival, such as Badminton, Volleyball, Carrom, Chess, Cricket, Football, and Athletics. The athletics events include 100 meters and 400 meters races for men and women, Shotput for men and women, 5000 meters run, 4×100 meters relay race for men and women, and 4×400 meters relay race for men.
The inaugural day witnessed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship among participants, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and healthy competition across departments.
The finals of major events including Chess, Carrom, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, and relay races are scheduled to be held tomorrow, i.e., 20th March 2026.
The event aims to promote physical fitness, camaraderie, and team spirit among railway employees while fostering a culture of sports and wellness within the division.
