South Eastern Railway Revises Coach Composition of Tamralipta and Kandari Express from 27 August 2026
Kharagpur, 29 June 2026:
For the convenience of passengers and to optimize accommodation across different travel classes, South Eastern Railway has decided to revise the coach composition of the following train services:
- 12857/12858 Howrah–Digha–Howrah Tamralipta Express
- 22897/22898 Howrah–Digha–Howrah Kandari Express
The revised coach composition will come into effect from the journeys commencing on 27 August 2026 from both Howrah and Digha.
Under the revised composition, additional accommodation has been introduced in Sleeper and Air-Conditioned classes while maintaining adequate seating facilities for short-distance passengers.

REGULATION OF TRAINS DUE TO DEVELOPMENTAL WORKS
IN ADRA DIVISION

In view of developmental works in Adra division, the following trains will be regulated as under:

(1) 68046/68045 Asansol-Adra–Asansol MEMU on 29.06.2026, 30.06.2026, 01.07.2026, 02.07.2026, 03.07.2026 and 05.07.2026.
(2) 68090/68089 Adra–Midnapore–Adra MEMU on 30.06.2026, 03.07.2026 and 05.07.2026.
(3) 68077/68078 Adra–Bhaga–Adra MEMU on 30.06.2026.
(4) 63594/63593 Asansol–Purulia–Asansol MEMU on 29.06.2026 and 02.07.2026.
(5) 68056 Tatanagar–Asansol MEMU on 04.07.2026.
Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains:
(1) 68056/68060 Tatanagar–Asansol-Barabhum MEMU journey commencing on 29.06.2026, 03.07.2026 and 05.07.2026 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
(2) 63594/63593 Asansol–Purulia–Asansol MEMU journey commencing on 30.06.2026, 01.07.2026, 03.07.2026 and 04.07.2026 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.
(3) 18116/18115 Chakradharpur–NSCB Gomoh–Chakradharpur MEMU journey commencing on 30.06.2026, 03.07.2026 and 05.07.2026 will be short terminated at/short originated from Mahuda.
(4) 68055/68056 Asansol–Tatanagar–Asansol MEMU journey commencing on 01.07.2026 will be short terminated at/short originated from Adra.

Due to Yard Remodelling work at Jaleswar in connection with Narayangarh-Bhadrak 3rd line work in Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway, the following trains will be regulated as under:
