RPF शालीमार ने रेलवे टिकट की दलाली का भंडाफोड़ किया; ₹54,000 से ज़्यादा कीमत के रिज़र्वेशन टिकट बरामद

रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन टिकटों की दलाली और गैर-कानूनी खरीद-बिक्री के खिलाफ एक बड़ी कार्रवाई में, शालीमार पोस्ट के रेलवे प्रोटेक्शन फोर्स (RPF) ने क्राइम इंटेलिजेंस ब्रांच (CIB), शालीमार के साथ मिलकर एक ऐसे व्यक्ति को पकड़ा, जिस पर पैसे के लिए रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन टिकट खरीदने और बेचने के गैर-कानूनी धंधे में शामिल होने का आरोप है।
भरोसेमंद जानकारी के आधार पर, RPF/पोस्ट/शालीमार और CIB/शालीमार की एक जॉइंट टीम ने 11 सितंबर 2026 को सुबह करीब 10:45 बजे शालीमार रेलवे स्टेशन के कंप्यूटराइज्ड पैसेंजर रिजर्वेशन सिस्टम (PRS) काउंटर पर सर्विलांस ऑपरेशन चलाया।
लगभग 11:05 बजे, टीम ने देखा कि एक आदमी विंडो नंबर 05 से रिजर्वेशन काउंटर से बाहर निकलते समय शक वाली हरकतें कर रहा था। उसे हिरासत में लिया गया और उसकी पहचान जोगिंदर शॉ, उम्र 34 साल, शालीमार, P.S. B. गार्डन, जिला हावड़ा, पश्चिम बंगाल के रहने वाले के तौर पर हुई।
चेकिंग के दौरान, उसके पास से शालीमार से अहमदाबाद के लिए ट्रेन नंबर 22830 का एक तत्काल रेलवे रिजर्वेशन टिकट मिला, जिसकी यात्रा की तारीख 12 सितंबर 2026 थी, जिसकी कीमत ₹1,065 थी। वह आदमी रिजर्वेशन टिकट रखने के लिए कोई वैलिड अथॉरिटी या सपोर्टिंग डॉक्यूमेंट नहीं दिखा सका।
आगे की पूछताछ में, उस व्यक्ति ने कथित तौर पर निजी पैसे के फायदे के लिए यात्रियों को रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन टिकट खरीदने और बेचने की बात मानी। उसके मोबाइल फ़ोन की जांच करने पर, 07 रेलवे टिकट (04 असली और 03 पुराने) से जुड़ी जानकारी और तस्वीरें मिलीं, जिनकी कुल कीमत लगभग ₹54,221 थी।
बरामद किए गए टिकट और दूसरी ज़रूरी चीज़ों को CIB टीम ने ज़ब्त कर लिया और आरोपी को बाद में रेलवे एक्ट की धारा 143 के तहत सज़ा वाले जुर्म के लिए रेलवे एक्ट की धारा 179(ii) के तहत गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। सभी ज़रूरी कानूनी औपचारिकताओं को पूरा करने के बाद, रेलवे एक्ट की धारा 143 के तहत केस नंबर 1008/2026 तारीख 11.09.2026 के तहत RPF/पोस्ट/शालीमार में केस दर्ज किया गया।
मामले में आगे की जांच चल रही है। गिरफ्तार व्यक्ति को ज़ब्त की गई चीज़ों और ज़रूरी डॉक्यूमेंट्स के साथ, मामले का संज्ञान लेने के लिए सक्षम अधिकारी के सामने भेज दिया गया है।
RPF बिना इजाज़त के टिकट दलालों की गतिविधियों पर रोक लगाने और असली यात्रियों के लिए रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन सुविधाओं तक सही और पारदर्शी पहुँच पक्का करने की कोशिशें जारी रखे हुए है।

RPF SHALIMAR BUSTS RAILWAY TICKET TOUT; RESERVATION TICKETS WORTH OVER ₹54,000 RECOVERED
Kharagpur, 12 September 2026:
In a significant action against touting and illegal procurement and sale of railway reservation tickets, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Shalimar Post, in association with the Crime Intelligence Branch (CIB), Shalimar, apprehended a person allegedly involved in the illegal business of procuring and selling railway reservation tickets for monetary gain.
Acting on reliable information, a joint team of RPF/Post/Shalimar and CIB/Shalimar conducted a surveillance operation at the Computerised Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counter of Shalimar Railway Station from around 10:45 hrs on 11 September 2026.
At approximately 11:05 hrs, the team noticed a person behaving suspiciously while leaving the reservation counter through Window No. 05. He was detained and identified as Joginder Shaw, aged 34 years, resident of Shalimar, P.S. B. Garden, District Howrah, West Bengal.
During checking, one Tatkal railway reservation ticket for Train No. 22830 from Shalimar to Ahmedabad, journey date 12 September 2026, having a value of ₹1,065, was recovered from his possession. The person failed to produce any valid authority or supporting documents for possessing the reservation ticket.
During further enquiry, the person allegedly admitted to procuring and selling railway reservation tickets to passengers for personal monetary gain. On examination of his mobile phone, information and photographs relating to 07 railway tickets (04 live and 03 old) were found, having a total value of approximately ₹54,221.
The recovered ticket and other relevant materials were seized by the CIB team and the accused was subsequently arrested under Section 179(ii) of the Railways Act for an offence punishable under Section 143 of the Railways Act. A case was registered at RPF/Post/Shalimar vide Case No. 1008/2026 dated 11.09.2026 under Section 143 of the Railways Act, after observing all due legal formalities.
Further enquiry into the case is in progress. The arrested person, along with the seized materials and relevant documents, has been forwarded before the competent authority for taking cognizance of the case.
