“ A mother’s love is the purest form of care, strength, and inspiration.”

Griffins International School celebrated Mother’s Day with immense joy and enthusiasm on 8 May 2026. The special occasion was organised to honour and appreciate the unconditional love, sacrifice, strength, and dedication of mothers in shaping the lives of their children.

The celebration witnessed the gracious presence of  Chief Guest Mrs. Prativa Halder, Chairman Sir Abishek Kumar Yadav, Principal Sir Pradeep Kumar Samal, Headmistress Ma’am Sonali Mahananda, along with the enthusiastic participation of the mothers.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome extended to the dignitaries and mothers. Headmistress Ma’am delivered the Welcome Address and expressed heartfelt gratitude to all mothers for their endless love, care, and support in nurturing and guiding their children. This was followed by the felicitation of the Chief Guest.

The celebration began on a vibrant note with a graceful Welcome Dance presented by the students of Nursery. A confident and expressive speech by Anaisha Sharma added charm and warmth to the programme. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the energetic and enthusiastic dance performances by the mothers of  LKG, and UKG sections, which created a joyful and emotional atmosphere.

The event also featured a Hindi Recitation, a melodious Bengali song, colourful dance performances by LKG and UKG students, Action Rhymes by the Nursery students, and a captivating Dance Drama presented by the UKG students. Each performance beautifully portrayed the deep love, gratitude, and bond shared between mothers and children.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Sir and Chairman Sir appreciated the sincere efforts of the teachers, students, and mothers in making the event a grand success. Chief Guest Prativa Halder praised the confidence, creativity, and talent displayed by the students and highlighted the important role of mothers in society.

The programme concluded with a delightful Thank You Dance by the LKG students, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by the PPRT Coordinator, Soumi Banerjee. The celebration left everyone with beautiful memories and heartfelt emotions. It served as a reminder of the invaluable contribution of mothers in every child’s life and strengthened the bond between the school and parents. The event was truly a memorable and meaningful occasion that filled the hearts of all present with love, happiness, and gratitude.

গ্রিফিনস ইন্টারন্যাশনাল স্কুলে ৮ মে ২০২৬ তারিখে অত্যন্ত আনন্দ ও উৎসাহের সঙ্গে মাতৃদিবস উদযাপন করা হয়। এই বিশেষ অনুষ্ঠানের মূল উদ্দেশ্য ছিল মায়েদের নিঃস্বার্থ ভালোবাসা, ত্যাগ, শক্তি ও সন্তানের জীবন গঠনে তাঁদের অসামান্য অবদানকে সম্মান ও শ্রদ্ধা জানানো।

অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন শ্রীমতি প্রতিভা হালদার। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন চেয়ারম্যান স্যার অভিষেক কুমার যাদব, প্রিন্সিপাল স্যার প্রদীপ কুমার সামাল, প্রধান শিক্ষিকা ম্যাম সোনালি মহানন্দা এবং বিপুল উৎসাহে অংশগ্রহণকারী সকল মায়েরা।

অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনা হয় অতিথিবৃন্দ ও মায়েদের উষ্ণ অভ্যর্থনার মাধ্যমে। প্রধানশিক্ষিকা ম্যাম স্বাগত ভাষণ প্রদান করেন এবং সন্তানদের লালন-পালন ও সঠিক পথে পরিচালিত করার জন্য সকল মায়েদের প্রতি আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন। এরপর প্রধান অতিথিকে সংবর্ধনা জানানো হয়।

নার্সারির শিক্ষার্থীদের মনোমুগ্ধকর স্বাগত নৃত্যের মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানটি প্রাণবন্ত হয়ে ওঠে। আনাইশা শর্মার আত্মবিশ্বাসী ও সুন্দর বক্তব্য অনুষ্ঠানটিকে আরও আকর্ষণীয় করে তোলে। এলকেজি ও ইউকেজি বিভাগের মায়েদের প্রাণবন্ত ও উৎসাহী নৃত্য পরিবেশনা উপস্থিত সকলের মন জয় করে এবং অনুষ্ঠানে আনন্দঘন ও আবেগময় পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি করে।

অনুষ্ঠানে আরও ছিল একটি হিন্দি আবৃত্তি, সুমধুর বাংলা গান, এলকেজি ও ইউকেজি শিক্ষার্থীদের বর্ণিল নৃত্য পরিবেশনা, নার্সারির শিশুদের অ্যাকশন রাইমস এবং ইউকেজি শিক্ষার্থীদের মনোমুগ্ধকর নৃত্যনাট্য। প্রতিটি পরিবেশনাই মা ও সন্তানের গভীর ভালোবাসা, কৃতজ্ঞতা ও অটুট বন্ধনকে সুন্দরভাবে তুলে ধরে।

অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে অধ্যক্ষ মহাশয় এবং সভাপতি  মহাশয় শিক্ষক, শিক্।

ग्रिफिन्स इंटरनेशनल स्कूल में 8 मई 2026 को मातृ दिवस अत्यंत हर्ष और उत्साह के साथ मनाया गया। यह विशेष अवसर माताओं के निःस्वार्थ प्रेम, त्याग, शक्ति और समर्पण को सम्मान देने और सराहने के लिए आयोजित किया गया था, जो अपने बच्चों के जीवन को सँवारने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती हैं।

इस समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि श्रीमती प्रतिमा हल्दर, चेयरमैन सर अभिषेक कुमार यादव, प्रिंसिपल सर प्रदीप कुमार सामल, हेडमिस्ट्रेस मैम सोनाली महानंदा तथा उत्साही माताओं की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत गणमान्य अतिथियों एवं माताओं के गर्मजोशी से स्वागत के साथ हुई। हेडमिस्ट्रेस मैम ने स्वागत भाषण प्रस्तुत करते हुए सभी माताओं के प्रति उनके असीम प्रेम, देखभाल और अपने बच्चों के मार्गदर्शन हेतु हार्दिक आभार व्यक्त किया। इसके पश्चात मुख्य अतिथि का सम्मान किया गया।

समारोह का शुभारंभ नर्सरी के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत मनमोहक स्वागत नृत्य से हुआ। अनैशा शर्मा द्वारा दिया गया आत्मविश्वासपूर्ण एवं प्रभावशाली भाषण कार्यक्रम में आकर्षण और स्नेह का भाव लेकर आया। एलकेजी और यूकेजी वर्ग की माताओं द्वारा प्रस्तुत ऊर्जावान एवं उत्साहपूर्ण नृत्य प्रस्तुतियों ने पूरे वातावरण को आनंदमय और भावुक बना दिया।

कार्यक्रम में हिंदी कविता-पाठ, मधुर बंगाली गीत, एलकेजी एवं यूकेजी विद्यार्थियों के रंगारंग नृत्य, नर्सरी विद्यार्थियों द्वारा एक्शन राइम्स तथा यूकेजी विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत आकर्षक नृत्य-नाटिका भी शामिल थी। प्रत्येक प्रस्तुति ने माँ और बच्चों के बीच के गहरे प्रेम, आभार और अटूट संबंध को सुंदर ढंग से दर्शाया।

सभा को संबोधित करते हुए प्रिंसिपल सर एवं चेयरमैन सर ने शिक्षकों, विद्यार्थियों और माताओं के प्रयासों की सराहना की, जिनकी बदौलत यह कार्यक्रम भव्य सफलता बना। मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिमा हल्दर ने विद्यार्थियों के आत्मविश्वास, रचनात्मकता और प्रतिभा की प्रशंसा करते हुए समाज में माताओं की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला।

कार्यक्रम का समापन एलकेजी विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत धन्यवाद नृत्य के साथ हुआ, जिसके पश्चात पीपीआरटी कोऑर्डिनेटर सौमी बनर्जी ने हृदयस्पर्शी धन्यवाद ज्ञापन प्रस्तुत किया।

यह उत्सव सभी के लिए सुंदर यादें और भावनात्मक क्षण छोड़ गया। इसने प्रत्येक बच्चे के जीवन में माताओं के अमूल्य योगदान की याद दिलाई तथा विद्यालय और अभिभावकों के बीच संबंधों को और अधिक मजबूत बनाया। यह कार्यक्रम वास्तव में एक यादगार और अर्थपूर्ण अवसर था, जिसने सभी के हृदय को प्रेम, खुशी और कृतज्ञता से भर दिया।

Griffins International School Glows with Bengali Pride in Reverence to Rabindranath Tagore

In the cultural and literary consciousness of Bengal, Rabindranath Tagore remains not merely a poet, but an eternal emotion — a heartbeat that resonates through every Bengali soul. His words have taught generations how to dream, how to love humanity, and how to discover beauty in nature, music, and life itself. The fragrance of Bengali culture, the spirit of humanism, and the pride of our heritage continue to shine through his timeless creations. With profound reverence and immense cultural pride, Griffins International School celebrated the 165th birth anniversary of the Kabi guru in a grand and emotionally enriching programme.

The colourful celebration, recently organised on the school campus, was graced by the presence of the school’s President Mr. Abishek Kumar Yadav, Principal Mr. Pradeep Kumar Samal, and Headmistress Ms. Sonali Mahananda. Their presence added dignity and warmth to an occasion that became a beautiful confluence of education, culture, and Bengali identity.

The programme began in the gentle serenity of the morning with floral tributes offered before the portrait of Rabindranath Tagore. As flowers were placed with folded hands and silent respect, an atmosphere of devotion and cultural pride enveloped the entire campus. The soulful strains of Rabindra Sangeet, rendered melodiously by the students, filled the air with a rare spiritual charm. For a few moments, it felt as though Bengal itself had come alive within the school premises — where poetry met emotion, and music embraced every heart.

In the following segment, students presented a thoughtful and informative narration on the life and legacy of Tagore. Their presentation beautifully highlighted the poet’s childhood, literary genius, establishment of Visva-Bharati, nationalist ideals, and his lifelong dedication towards humanity and education. They eloquently reflected upon Tagore’s visionary educational philosophy, where learning was not confined to textbooks alone but was deeply connected with nature, creativity, and human values. Their words reminded everyone that Rabindranath’s ideals continue to illuminate modern education even today.

Addressing the gathering, the school Chairman remarked emotionally, “Rabindranath Tagore is the pride of Bengal and the pride of India. His thoughts were centuries ahead of his time. If the younger generation can truly absorb his ideals of humanity, compassion, and creativity, then society will undoubtedly become more enlightened and harmonious.” His inspiring words deeply touched the students and teachers alike.

The enthusiasm, discipline, and heartfelt participation of the students throughout the programme reflected the school’s sincere commitment towards preserving cultural values. One of the most touching moments of the event was the presentation of the audio-drama Amal O Doiwala. Through expressive dialogue delivery and emotional performance, the students recreated the innocence, warmth, and emotional depth of Tagore’s storytelling, leaving the audience spellbound.

However, the soul of the celebration emerged through the magnificent dance-drama adaptation of Chandalika. The performance transcended mere stage presentation and evolved into an emotional experience. The graceful movements, powerful expressions, melodious music, and captivating stagecraft breathed life into Tagore’s timeless message against caste discrimination and in favour of human dignity and liberation. Every gesture carried emotion; every rhythm echoed the spirit of Bengal.

As thunderous applause filled the auditorium, one truth became evident — Rabindranath Tagore is not just remembered in Bengal; he continues to live within its language, culture, music, and collective soul. Through this heartfelt celebration, Griffins International School once again reaffirmed that the legacy of the Kabi guru will forever inspire future generations with the light of humanity, creativity, and Bengali pride.

 

রবীন্দ্রপ্রণামে আলোকিত গ্রিফিন্স ইন্টারন্যাশনাল স্কুল

সকালের স্নিগ্ধ আবহে অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনা হয় বিশ্বকবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের প্রতিকৃতিতে পুষ্পার্ঘ্য নিবেদনের মাধ্যমে। বিদ্যালয়ের সভাপতি, অধ্যক্ষ ও প্রধান শিক্ষিকা শ্রদ্ধার্ঘ্য অর্পণ করে তাঁর স্মৃতির প্রতি গভীর সম্মান জ্ঞাপন করেন। এরপর বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের কণ্ঠে পরিবেশিত উদ্বোধনী সংগীত সমগ্র পরিবেশকে এক অপূর্ব সাংস্কৃতিক আবহে ভরিয়ে তোলে। রবীন্দ্রসুরের মাধুর্যে মুহূর্তেই যেন বিদ্যালয় প্রাঙ্গণ হয়ে ওঠে এক অনন্য সাহিত্য-সাংস্কৃতিক মিলনক্ষেত্র।

অনুষ্ঠানের পরবর্তী পর্বে বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীরা রবীন্দ্রজীবনী নিয়ে একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত অথচ অত্যন্ত তথ্যবহুল বক্তব্য উপস্থাপন করে। তাঁদের উপস্থাপনায় উঠে আসে বিশ্বকবির শৈশব, সাহিত্যসাধনা, বিশ্বভারতী প্রতিষ্ঠার উদ্দেশ্য, জাতীয়তাবাদী চেতনা এবং মানবিক মূল্যবোধের প্রতি তাঁর গভীর দায়বদ্ধতা। রবীন্দ্রনাথের শিক্ষা-দর্শনের প্রসঙ্গ টেনে তারা উল্লেখ করে, কেবল পুঁথিগত বিদ্যা নয়, প্রকৃতি ও মানবিকতার সঙ্গে শিক্ষার সমন্বয় ঘটিয়ে তিনি যে শিক্ষাচিন্তার সূচনা করেছিলেন, তা আজও সমানভাবে প্রাসঙ্গিক।

অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে বিদ্যালয়ের সভাপতি বলেন, “রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর কেবল সাহিত্যের মধ্যেই সীমাবদ্ধ ছিলেন না; সময়ের থেকে বহু দূর এগিয়ে ছিল তাঁর শিক্ষা-ভাবনা। সমাজ ও মানবকল্যাণের ক্ষেত্রেও তাঁর অবদান আমাদের আগামী দিনের পথচলার পাথেয় হয়ে থাকা উচিত। বর্তমান প্রজন্ম যদি তাঁর আদর্শ ও মানবতাবোধকে ধারণ করতে পারে, তবে সমাজ আরও সুন্দর ও আলোকিত হয়ে উঠবে।” সভাপতির এই বক্তব্য শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে গভীর অনুপ্রেরণার সঞ্চার করে।

সমগ্র অনুষ্ঠানজুড়ে বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের উৎসাহ, শৃঙ্খলা ও আন্তরিক অংশগ্রহণ ছিল বিশেষভাবে লক্ষণীয়। সাংস্কৃতিক পর্বে শিক্ষার্থীরা পরিবেশন করে ‘অমল ও দইওয়ালা’ অবলম্বনে এক মনোমুগ্ধকর শ্রুতিনাটক, যা দর্শকদের আবেগাপ্লুত করে তোলে। সাবলীল সংলাপ, নিখুঁত উচ্চারণ এবং অভিনয়ের দক্ষতা উপস্থিত সকলের প্রশংসা অর্জন করে।

তবে অনুষ্ঠানের মূল আকর্ষণ ছিল রবীন্দ্রনাথের বিখ্যাত নৃত্যনাট্য চন্ডালিকার নৃত্যাভিনয়। শিক্ষার্থীদের মনোজ্ঞ নৃত্যভঙ্গি, আবেগময় অভিব্যক্তি, সুর ও আলোকসজ্জার সমন্বয়ে পরিবেশনাটি যেন জীবন্ত হয়ে ওঠে। জাতপাত ও মানবমুক্তির গভীর বার্তাবাহী এই নৃত্যনাট্য দর্শকদের মনে বিশেষ প্রভাব বিস্তার করে এবং দীর্ঘক্ষণ করতালিতে মুখরিত হয়ে ওঠে অনুষ্ঠানমঞ্চ।

 

 

 

 

सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के साथ मनाई गई रवीन्द्र जयंती

 

 

ग्रिफिन्स इंटरनेशनल स्कूल में दिनांक 09.05.26, शनिवार को गुरुदेव रवीन्द्रनाथ टैगोर की जयंती बड़े हर्षोल्लास एवं सांस्कृतिक गरिमा के साथ मनाई गई। कार्यक्रम का आयोजन विद्यालय प्रांगण में किया गया, जहाँ विद्यार्थियों एवं शिक्षकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत विद्यार्थियों के सभास्थल पर आगमन से हुई। तत्पश्चात चेयरमैन सर, प्रिंसिपल सर एवं हेडमिस्ट्रेस मैम का स्वागत किया गया। इसके बाद रवीन्द्र जयंती पर एक परिचयात्मक भाषण प्रस्तुत किया गया, जिसमें गुरुदेव के साहित्य, संगीत एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में योगदान पर प्रकाश डाला गया।

विद्यालय के गणमान्य अतिथियों द्वारा गुरुदेव के चित्र पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी गई। विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत उद्घाटन गीत ने सभी का मन मोह लिया। हेडमिस्ट्रेस मैम ने अपने संबोधन में विद्यार्थियों को गुरुदेव के आदर्शों को अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

इसके पश्चात “श्रुति नाटक” के रूप में काव्य-पाठ प्रस्तुत किया गया तथा विभिन्न नृत्य प्रस्तुतियों ने कार्यक्रम को आकर्षक बना दिया। वरिष्ठ विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत “नृत्यनाट्य” कार्यक्रम का मुख्य आकर्षण रहा। प्रिंसिपल सर एवं चेयरमैन सर ने भी अपने प्रेरणादायक संबोधन में गुरुदेव के विचारों की महत्ता पर प्रकाश डाला।

अंत में राष्ट्रगान के साथ कार्यक्रम का सफल समापन हुआ। सम्पूर्ण वातावरण साहित्य, संगीत एवं संस्कृति की भावना

ओं से ओत-प्रोत दिखाई दिया।
