कोलकाता दौरे के दौरान, केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने जय हिंद स्टेशन से नोआपाड़ा स्टेशन तक कोलकाता मेट्रो में सफ़र किया और साथी यात्रियों से बातचीत करके उनके सफ़र के अनुभव को समझा और मेट्रो सेवाओं पर फ़ीडबैक लिया।
मेट्रो स्टेशन पर, मंत्री ने सफ़ाई कर्मचारियों से भी मुलाक़ात की और सफ़ाई बनाए रखने में उनके प्रयासों की तारीफ़ की। बातचीत के दौरान, सफ़ाई कर्मचारियों ने इस बात पर संतोष जताया कि उनकी चिंताओं और सुझावों को रेल मंत्री सीधे सुन रहे थे।
तय कार्यक्रम का हिस्सा न होते हुए, मंत्री ने अचानक नोआपाड़ा से बेलघोरिया एक्सप्रेसवे तक ऑटो-रिक्शा से सफ़र करने का फ़ैसला किया। इस सफ़र में माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी का फ़्यूल बचाने और पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट के ज़्यादा इस्तेमाल का संदेश दिखा और साथ ही पश्चिम बंगाल के लोगों की सेवा के लिए BJP के सत्ता में आने का ‘भय आउट भरोसा इन’ संदेश भी दिखा।
इन बातचीत के बाद, मंत्री चल रहे विकास के कामों पर चर्चा करने के लिए माननीय CM श्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी से मिलने गए।
During his visit to Kolkata, Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw travelled on the Kolkata Metro from Jai Hind Station to Noapara Station and interacted with fellow passengers to understand their travel experience and gather feedback on metro services.
At the metro station, the Minister also met with sanitation staff and appreciated their efforts in maintaining cleanliness. During the interaction, cleaning staff members expressed satisfaction that their concerns and suggestions were being heard directly by the Rail Minister.
Not part of the scheduled programme, the Minister spontaneously chose to travel by auto-rickshaw from Noapara to the Belghoria Expressway. The journey reflected the message of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji on fuel conservation and greater use of public transportation and also ‘भय Out भरोसा In’ BJP coming to power to serve the people of West Bengal.
Following these interactions, the Minister proceeded to meet Shri Suvendu Adhikari, Hon’ble CM to discuss ongoing development initiatives.
