ज्ञानेश्वरी एक्सप्रेस में महिला यात्री ने दिया बच्ची को जन्म, रेलवे कर्मियों की तत्परता से सुरक्षित प्रसव

खड़गपुर, 08.04.2026:
एक मानवीय एवं सराहनीय घटना में, ट्रेन संख्या 12101 ज्ञानेश्वरी एक्सप्रेस से रायपुर से शालीमार की यात्रा कर रही महिला यात्री श्रीमती मिनारा मोल्ला ने ट्रेन में ही एक स्वस्थ बच्ची को जन्म दिया।
यात्री S4 कोच में यात्रा कर रही थीं और खड़गपुर स्टेशन से प्रस्थान के कुछ समय बाद उन्हें प्रसव पीड़ा शुरू हो गई। स्थिति की गंभीरता को देखते हुए ट्रेन में मौजूद टिकट जांच स्टाफ एवं रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (RPF) के कर्मियों ने तत्परता एवं संवेदनशीलता के साथ उनकी सहायता की।
रेलवे कर्मियों के समय पर सहयोग और देखभाल के कारण महिला ने ट्रेन में ही सुरक्षित रूप से एक बच्ची को जन्म दिया। शालीमार स्टेशन पहुंचने पर मां और नवजात को सुरक्षित उतारा गया तथा उन्हें आवश्यक चिकित्सा सुविधा एवं स्वास्थ्य देखभाल उपलब्ध कराई गई।
यह घटना रेलवे कर्मियों की सजगता, मानवीय दृष्टिकोण एवं कर्तव्यनिष्ठा को दर्शाती है, जिन्होंने चुनौतीपूर्ण परिस्थिति में भी यात्री की सुरक्षा और सुविधा सुनिश्चित की।

 

 

RPF Conducts Successful Anti-Touting Drive at Baleshwar, One Arrested

In a continued effort to curb illegal railway ticketing activities, a joint drive was conducted on 06.04.2026 at Sahadebkhunta Bus Stand, Baleshwar by officers and staff of RPF Post/Baleshwar, RPF Task Team/Kharagpur, and CIB/Kharagpur based on reliable source information regarding procurement and illegal sale of railway tickets.

During the operation at about 12:20 hrs, one suspicious individual was intercepted. Upon enquiry and verification, the individual disclosed his identity as Banchhanidhi Sahoo (44 yrs), resident of F.M. Nagar, Karanjia, PS-Baleshwar Sadar, Dist-Baleshwar (Odisha).

On search, the following items were recovered from his possession:

02 live railway reservation tickets valued at Rs. 20,270/-

03 additional tickets (01 confirmed & 02 waiting list) valued at Rs. 3,250/-

05 blank reservation requisition forms

Cash amounting to Rs. 17,300/-

The total value of recovered railway tickets was Rs. 23,520/-.

The accused failed to produce any valid authority for procuring or selling railway tickets. During interrogation, he admitted about engaging in illegal ticketing activities for personal gain. All recovered items were seized on the spot under proper seizure procedures in the presence of independent witnesses.

Subsequently, the accused was served notice under relevant provisions, which he refused to accept, and was later arrested at under Section 179(2) of the Railways Act for an offence punishable under Section 143 of the Railways Act.

A case vide No. 496/2026 dated 06.04.2026 u/s 143 of the Railways Act has been registered at RPF Post/Baleshwar. The accused, along with seized articles, was produced before the competent authority. The seized vehicle has been deposited in the post Malkhana.

RPF reiterates its commitment to curb illegal touting activities and appeals to passengers to book tickets only through authorized channels to avoid fraud and legal

complications.
