RPF ने संकरैल-अंदुल सेक्शन के पास ट्रेनों में पत्थरबाजी की घटनाओं में शामिल व्यक्ति को पकड़ा

रेलवे प्रोटेक्शन फोर्स (RPF), खड़गपुर डिवीजन ने 02 जनवरी 2026 को संकरैल-अंदुल सेक्शन में ट्रेन नंबर 12828 और ट्रेन नंबर 18045 पर पत्थरबाजी की घटनाओं के बारे में रेल मदद और सोशल मीडिया पर मिली शिकायतों पर तुरंत कार्रवाई की।
शिकायतों के अनुसार, संकरैल रेलवे स्टेशन से गुजरने के तुरंत बाद ट्रेन नंबर 12828 के कोच D-8 पर और बाद में उसी सेक्शन में ट्रेन नंबर 18045 के कोच B-4 पर पत्थरबाजी हुई। शिकायत करने वालों, ट्रेन एस्कॉर्ट पार्टी, कोच अटेंडेंट और ऑन-ड्यूटी TTE से तुरंत संपर्क किया गया, सभी ने कन्फर्म किया कि किसी भी घटना में किसी भी यात्री को कोई चोट नहीं आई। सूचना मिलने पर, संतरागाछी से RPF के जवान, RPF पोस्ट संतरागाछी और RPF/CIB शालीमार की टीमों के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे और जांच शुरू की। जांच के दौरान, रेलवे स्टाफ, ट्रैक मेंटेनेंस में लगे कॉन्ट्रैक्ट पर काम करने वाले कर्मचारियों और स्थानीय लोगों के बयान लिए गए। संकरेल रेलवे स्टेशन के CCTV फुटेज की भी जांच की गई।
इनपुट और CCTV एनालिसिस के आधार पर, आस-पास के इलाके में एसहाक सुरीन (पुरुष-25 साल, सिमडेगा, झारखंड का रहने वाला) नाम के एक व्यक्ति की पहचान हुई, जिसका हुलिया मिलता-जुलता था। कड़ी तलाशी के बाद, RPF के जवानों ने शाम को अंदुल-संकरेल सेक्शन में उस व्यक्ति को हिरासत में लिया। वेरिफिकेशन और पूछताछ करने पर, उस व्यक्ति ने अपनी संलिप्तता मान ली।
हिरासत में लिए गए व्यक्ति को RPF पोस्ट संतरागाछी लाया गया, रेलवे हेल्थ यूनिट, संतरागाछी में उसकी मेडिकल जांच की गई, और बाद में यात्रियों और रेलवे प्रॉपर्टी की सुरक्षा को खतरे में डालने के लिए रेलवे एक्ट के संबंधित नियमों के तहत गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। घटनाओं के संबंध में RPF पोस्ट संतरागाछी में अलग-अलग केस दर्ज किए गए हैं, और आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई प्रक्रिया के अनुसार चल रही है। खड़गपुर डिवीजन यात्रियों और रेलवे ऑपरेशन की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के अपने वादे को दोहराता है और जनता से अपील करता है कि वे किसी भी संदिग्ध या गैर-कानूनी गतिविधि की रिपोर्ट रेल मदद या दूसरे ऑफिशियल चैनलों के ज़रिए करें।

खड़गपुर डिवीज़न ने स्पेशल टिकट चेकिंग ड्राइव चलाई

साउथ ईस्टर्न रेलवे के खड़गपुर डिवीज़न ने आज खड़गपुर – टाटा, खड़गपुर – बालेश्वर और खड़गपुर – हावड़ा सेक्शन की कई ज़रूरी ट्रेनों और स्टेशनों पर स्पेशल टिकट चेकिंग ड्राइव चलाई ताकि बिना टिकट और अनियमित यात्रा पर रोक लगाई जा सके और रेलवे नियमों का बेहतर पालन पक्का किया जा सके।

यह ड्राइव डिवीज़न के कमर्शियल स्टाफ़ ने ट्रेन नंबर 22504, 12841, 12842, 12021, 12703, 12704, 12828, 12860, 12074, 12821 और 12815 में चलाई।

इंटेंसिव चेकिंग के दौरान, बिना टिकट और अनियमित यात्रा के 178 मामले पकड़े गए, और नियम तोड़ने वालों से कुल ₹1,57,035 का जुर्माना वसूला गया।

इसके अलावा, हावड़ा न्यू कॉम्प्लेक्स, प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर 17 पर एक सरप्राइज चेकिंग के दौरान, कमर्शियल डिपार्टमेंट ने बिना मंज़ूरी वाले पैकेज्ड ड्रिंकिंग वॉटर के 10 कार्टन ज़ब्त किए, जिन्हें रेलवे के नियमों का उल्लंघन करके ले जाया जा रहा था।

खड़गपुर डिवीजन द्वारा बिना टिकट यात्रा को रोकने, सामान का ऑथराइज़्ड ट्रांसपोर्टेशन पक्का करने और असली यात्रियों के लिए एक सुरक्षित और सही यात्रा का माहौल देने के लिए रेगुलर तौर पर ऐसे ड्राइव चलाए जा रहे हैं। डिवीजन यात्रियों से अपील करता है कि वे सही टिकट के साथ यात्रा करें और रेलवे के नियमों का पालन करें।

RPF Apprehends Person Involved in Stone-Pelting Incidents on Trains Near Sankrail–Andul Section

Railway Protection Force (RPF), Kharagpur division promptly responded to Rail Madad and social media complaints received on 02 January 2026 regarding stone-pelting incidents on Train No. 12828 and Train No. 18045 in the Sankrail–Andul section.

As per the complaints, stone-pelting occurred on Coach D-8 of Train No. 12828 shortly after passing Sankrail Railway Station and later on Coach B-4 of Train No. 18045 in the same section. Immediate contact was established with the complainants, Train Escort Party, Coach Attendant and on-duty TTE, all of whom confirmed that no passenger sustained any injury in either incident.

On receipt of the information, RPF personnel from Santragachi, along with teams from RPF Post Santragachi and RPF/CIB Shalimar, rushed to the spot and initiated an enquiry. During the enquiry, statements were collected from railway staff, contractual workers engaged in track maintenance, and local residents. CCTV footage from Sankrail Railway Station was also examined.

Based on inputs and CCTV analysis, a person named Esahak Surin, (Male -25 yrs, resident of Simdega, Jharkhand) matching the description was identified in the vicinity. After an intensive search, RPF personnel detained the individual in the Andul–Sankrail section in the evening hours. On verification and questioning, the individual admitted his involvement.

The detained person was brought to RPF Post Santragachi, medically examined at the Railway Health Unit, Santragachi, and subsequently arrested under relevant provisions of the Railways Act for endangering the safety of passengers and railway property. Separate cases have been registered at RPF Post Santragachi in connection with the incidents, and further legal action is underway as per procedure.

Kharagpur Division reiterates its commitment to ensure the safety and security of passengers and railway operations and appeals to the public to report any suspicious or unlawful activity through Rail Madad or other official channels.

Special Ticket Checking Drive Conducted by Kharagpur Division

Kharagpur, January 3, 2026:

Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway conducted a special ticket checking drive today across several important trains and stations in KHARAGPUR – TATA, KHARAGPUR – BALESHWAR and KHARAGPUR – HOWRAH sections to curb ticketless and irregular travel and to ensure better compliance with railway rules.

The drive was carried out in Train Nos. 22504, 12841, 12842, 12021, 12703, 12704, 12828, 12860, 12074, 12821 and 12815 by commercial staff of the division.

During the intensive checking, 178 cases of ticketless and irregular travel were detected, and a total penalty amount of ₹1,57,035 was realised from the offenders.

In addition to the above, during a surprise check at Howrah New Complex, Platform No. 17, the Commercial Department seized 10 cartons of unapproved packaged drinking water, which were being carried in violation of railway norms.

Such drives are being conducted regularly by Kharagpur Division to discourage ticketless travel, ensure authorised transportation of goods, and provide a safe and fair travel environment for genuine passengers. The division appeals to passengers to travel with proper tickets and adhere to railwa
