डॉ दीपक की युवा प्रतिभाशाली ओटी टीम और खड़गपुर रेलवे अस्पताल में डॉक्टरों की आईटीयू टीम ने एक मरीज पर ट्रेकियोस्टोमी की एक अत्यंत कठिन प्रक्रिया को सफलतापूर्वक किया है, जबकि मरीज पहले से ही ईटी ट्यूब के साथ वेंटिलेटर सपोर्ट पर था।
62 वर्षीय रविशंकर प्रसाद को 25/10/2022 को सांस लेने की शिकायत के साथ भर्ती कराया गया था, जिसे सेप्सिस के साथ आरटी फेफड़े के मध्य लोब समेकन के रूप में डायग्नोसिस किया गया था। मरीज में एआरडीएस विकसित हो गया और उसे 27 अक्टूबर को आपातकालीन आधार पर इंटुबेसन करना पड़ा जिससे रोगी ठीक हो गया और 31 अक्टूबर को ठीक होने पर बाहर निकाला गया लेकिन 7 नवंबर 22 को सेप्टिक शॉक टाइप- I श्वसन विफलता के साथ फिर से एआरडीएस विकसित हुआ। डॉक्टरों की टीम ने आधी रात को इमरजेंसी में उसका इंटुबैशन किया और वेंटिलेटर पर रखा, मरीज के परिजन मरीज को कॉरपोरेट अस्पताल ले जाना चाहते थे लेकिन कॉरपोरेट अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों से चर्चा के बाद मरीज की खराब स्थिति के कारण लेने को तैयार नहीं थे इसलिए रेलवे अस्पताल में ही ट्रेकियोस्टोमी करने का निर्णय लिया गया, ट्रेकियोस्टोमी 16 नवंबर 22 को सफलतापूर्वक किया गया क्योंकि मरीज को लंबे समय तक वेंटिलेटर सपोर्ट की जरूरत होती है, मंडल रेलवे अस्पताल खड़गपुर के आईटीयू में बेड नंबर 2 पर अब मरीज ट्रैकियोस्टोमी के साथ वेंटिलेटर सपोर्ट पर बेहतर स्थिति में है। खड़गपुर रेल मंडल के पीआरओ राजेश कुमार ने सफलतापूर्वक आपरेशन के लिए डा. व उसकी टीम को बधाई दी है।
- ट्रेकियोस्टोमी एक महत्वपूर्ण सर्जिकल प्रक्रिया है जिसका उपयोग कई स्वास्थ्य जटिलताओं के उपचार में किया जाता है, जैसे कि एक आपातकालीन स्थिति में जब ऊपरी श्वसन पथ अवरुद्ध हो जाता है, तो ऊपरी श्वासनली में रुकावट को दूर करने और फेफड़ों को ऑक्सीजन प्रदान करने के लिए या फेफड़ों से स्राव को हटाने लिए ट्रेचोटॉमी किया जाता है
The young and dynamic OT team of Dr. Deepak and ITU team of doctors at KHARAGPUR RAILWAY HOSPITAL have successfully performed an extremely difficult procedure of Tracheostomy on a patient, when the patient is already on ventilator support with ET Tube.
Ravi Shankar Prasad, male, aged 62years was admitted on 25/10/2022 with complaints of Respiratory distress Diagnosed as Rt lung middle lobe consolidation with sepsis. The patient developed ARDS and had to be intubated on 27th Oct on emergency basis. Patient recovered & was extubated on 31st Oct, well maintained but again developed ARDS with septic shock Type-I respiratory failure, on 7th Nov’22. The team of doctors intubated him on emergency basis in the mid night & put on ventilator, patient’s relatives wanted to take the patient to corporate hospital but after discussion with corporate hospital doctors, because of poor prognosis of the patient, they are not ready to take the patient. So decision was taken to do Tracheostomy in railway hospital only, Tracheostomy was done successfully on 16th Nov’22 because the patient needs prolonged ventilator support, now patient is on ventilator support with Tracheostomy, on bed no 2 in ITU of Divisional Railway Hospital Kharagpur.
