ट्रेन में पथराव: नाबालिग हिरासत में

रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (RPF) खड़गपुर डिवीजन ने साल के अंत में अपनी सतर्कता से न केवल यात्रियों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की, बल्कि मानवीय सेवा की भी मिसाल पेश की है। 30 और 31 दिसंबर को की गई विभिन्न कार्रवाइयों में बच्चों को रेस्क्यू करने के साथ-साथ कीमती सामान बरामद किया गया।
भटके हुए बच्चों की घर वापसी
हिजली रेलवे स्टेशन पर गश्त के दौरान आरपीएफ कर्मियों को एक नाबालिग लड़का रोता हुआ मिला। पूछताछ में पता चला कि वह घरेलू विवाद के कारण घर छोड़कर भाग आया था। आरपीएफ ने कानूनी औपचारिकताएं पूरी कर बच्चे को ‘चाइल्ड हेल्प डेस्क’ के हवाले कर दिया।
वहीं, मेचेदा-कोलाघाट सेक्शन के बीच ट्रेनों पर पथराव करने वाले एक अन्य नाबालिग को हिरासत में लिया गया। पूछताछ में उसने जिज्ञासावश पत्थर फेंकने की बात स्वीकार की। आरपीएफ ने उसके परिवार की काउंसलिंग की और उसे किशोर न्याय बोर्ड के समक्ष पेश किया।
ऑपरेशन “अमानत” के तहत लौटाया गया सामान
आरपीएफ ने ‘रेल मदद’ शिकायतों पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए ट्रेनों में छूटे हुए यात्रियों के बैग, लैपटॉप और नकदी बरामद की, जिनकी कुल कीमत लगभग ₹52,000 थी। यह सामान ट्रेन संख्या 18616, 15022 और हावड़ा-मेदिनीपुर लोकल से बरामद किया गया और उचित सत्यापन के बाद उनके असली मालिकों को लौटा दिया गया।

KHARAGPUR, January 1, 2026 – The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of the Kharagpur Division has been commended for its proactive measures in ensuring passenger safety, recovering lost property, and safeguarding vulnerable children during the busy New Year period.
Child Rescue and Juvenile Intervention
Missing Minor Rescued: RPF personnel at Hijli station rescued a minor boy found crying on the platform. The child had fled his home following a domestic argument. He was safely handed over to the Child Help Desk after legal formalities were completed.
Intervention in Train Pelting: On December 30, 2025, RPF Mecheda detained a minor involved in throwing stones at passing trains near Bridge No. 57. Following counseling for both the child and his family, the minor was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board in Purba Medinipur.
Operation “Amanat” Recovers Valuables
The RPF successfully addressed several “Rail Madad” complaints, recovering lost belongings valued at approximately ₹52,000. The recovered items, which included laptops, cash, and personal documents, were found on various trains, including the Howrah-Medinipur local. Under Operation Amanat, these items were verified and returned to their rightful owners.
These actions underscore the RPF’s commitment to maintaining a secure and humane environment for all rail commuters.
