RPF टीम खड़गपुर ने एगरा से दो टिकट दलालों को पकड़ा; गैर-कानूनी रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन टिकट ज़ब्त किए गए

गैर-कानूनी रेलवे टिकट दलाली की गतिविधियों के बारे में भरोसेमंद सोर्स से मिली जानकारी के आधार पर, RPF टीम खड़गपुर ने 16.05.2026 को सिटी बुकिंग काउंटर, एगरा, पूर्व मेदिनीपुर में IPF श्री एम. के. संन्यासी, इंचार्ज RPF टीम खड़गपुर की देखरेख में एक खास ड्राइव चलाई।
टीम ने सुबह 10:50 बजे से यह ड्राइव चलाई। ऑपरेशन के दौरान, लगभग 12:10 बजे, दो लोगों को रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन टिकट खरीदते और बुकिंग काउंटर परिसर के बाहर संदिग्ध तरीके से घूमते हुए देखा गया। संदिग्धों को रोका गया और वेरिफिकेशन के लिए हिरासत में लिया गया।
पूछताछ करने पर, हिरासत में लिए गए लोगों ने अपनी पहचान बताई:
स्वपन दास (37), निवासी बरदा, PS-एगरा, जिला-पूर्व मेदिनीपुर (WB)
अमीन खान (31), निवासी अमदई, कल्याणपुर, PS-एगरा, जिला-पूर्व मेदिनीपुर (WB)
चेकिंग के दौरान, RPF टीम को उनके पास से कई रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन टिकट, रिक्विजिशन स्लिप, मोबाइल फ़ोन और कैश मिला। ज़ब्त किए गए टिकटों में अलग-अलग ट्रेनों के तत्काल और प्रीमियम तत्काल टिकट शामिल थे, जिनकी कीमत लगभग Rs. 6,565/- थी।
पूछताछ करने पर, दोनों लोग दूसरों की तरफ़ से रेलवे टिकट खरीदने का कोई वैलिड अथॉरिटी नहीं दिखा पाए। पूछताछ में, उन्होंने माना कि वे बुकिंग काउंटर से डिमांड पर रेलवे टिकट खरीदते थे और अपने फ़ायदे के लिए ज़्यादा पैसे लेकर कस्टमर को देते थे। उनके मोबाइल फ़ोन की जांच में गैर-कानूनी दलाली से जुड़ी WhatsApp चैट भी मिलीं।
क्योंकि बरामद सामान और हालात से पता चला कि वे गैर-कानूनी रेलवे टिकट दलाली में शामिल थे, इसलिए RPF टीम ने गवाहों की मौजूदगी में सभी ज़ब्त सामान अपने कब्ज़े में ले लिया। इसके बाद, दोनों आरोपियों को रेलवे एक्ट के संबंधित नियमों के तहत गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।
RPF टास्क टीम की शिकायत के आधार पर, दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ RPF पोस्ट दीघा में केस दर्ज किया गया। बाद में उन्हें कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए CJM/तमलुक की माननीय कोर्ट में भेज दिया गया।
खड़गपुर डिवीजन गैर-कानूनी टिकट दलाली की गतिविधियों को रोकने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है और यात्रियों से अपील करता है कि वे रेलवे टिकट सिर्फ अधिकृत रेलवे बुकिंग काउंटर और ऑफिशियल ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म से ही खरीदें।
RPF खड़गपुर ने हिजली रेलवे स्टेशन पर गांजा तस्करी की कोशिश का पर्दाफाश किया

रेलवे के ज़रिए नशीले पदार्थों के अवैध परिवहन के खिलाफ एक बड़ी सफलता में, हिजली पोस्ट के रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (RPF) ने RPF/CIB/खड़गपुर के साथ मिलकर 14.05.2026 को हिजली रेलवे स्टेशन पर प्रतिबंधित गांजा ले जा रहे एक व्यक्ति को पकड़ा।
ट्रेनों के ज़रिए प्रतिबंधित वस्तुओं के परिवहन के बारे में विश्वसनीय स्रोत की जानकारी पर कार्रवाई करते हुए, PC/RPF/पोस्ट/हिजली श्री शशि शंकर की देखरेख में RPF/पोस्ट/हिजली और RPF/CIB/खड़गपुर के अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों द्वारा एक संयुक्त छापेमारी और तलाशी अभियान चलाया गया।
ऑपरेशन के दौरान, ट्रेन नंबर 12815 नंदनकानन एक्सप्रेस लगभग 17:30 बजे हिजली रेलवे स्टेशन के प्लेटफार्म नंबर 01 पर पहुंची। छापेमारी करने वाली टीम ने जनरल कोच के पास नीले रंग का ट्रैवलिंग बैग ले जा रहे एक संदिग्ध व्यक्ति की पहचान की। पूछताछ करने पर, उस व्यक्ति ने शुरू में अलग-अलग बयान देकर टीम को गुमराह करने की कोशिश की। लगातार पूछताछ करने पर, उसने अपनी पहचान उत्तर प्रदेश के फतेहपुर जिले के निवासी, लगभग 33 वर्षीय अनिल सिंह के रूप में बताई।
उस व्यक्ति ने स्वीकार किया कि उसके पास मौजूद बैग में गांजा था, जिसे उसने भुवनेश्वर रेलवे स्टेशन के पास इकट्ठा किया था और निजी फायदे के लिए अवैध बिक्री के लिए फतेहपुर की ओर ले जा रहा था। वह प्रतिबंधित पदार्थ ले जाने के लिए कोई वैध प्राधिकरण या कानूनी दस्तावेज दिखाने में विफल रहा।
NDPS अधिनियम के प्रावधानों के तहत उचित प्रक्रिया का पालन करते हुए, हिरासत में लिए गए व्यक्ति ने एक राजपत्रित अधिकारी की उपस्थिति में तलाशी कराने का विकल्प चुना। तदनुसार, श्री जितेंद्र कुमार सिंह, ASC/RPF/WS/KGP, स्वतंत्र गवाहों और RPF कर्मचारियों की उपस्थिति में राजपत्रित अधिकारी के रूप में मौके पर मौजूद थे।
तलाशी के दौरान, यात्रा करने वाले बैग से भूरे रंग के सेलो टेप से लिपटे संदिग्ध गांजे वाले चार पैकेट बरामद किए गए। जब्त किए गए प्रतिबंधित पदार्थ का कुल वजन लगभग 4 Kg 100 ग्राम पाया गया, जिसकी बाजार कीमत लगभग रु. 2,05,000/-.
बरामद की गई प्रतिबंधित सामग्री, बैग और रेलवे टिकट को सभी कानूनी औपचारिकताओं के बाद ज़ब्त कर लिया गया। इसके बाद, आरोपी को 15.05.2026 को लगभग 00:45 बजे NDPS एक्ट के संबंधित प्रावधानों के तहत गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। RPF/पोस्ट/हिजली में पर्सनल तलाशी के दौरान, उसके पास से दो मोबाइल फ़ोन और सिम कार्ड बरामद हुए। उसके परिवार वालों को भी गिरफ्तारी के बारे में बता दिया गया।
सभी कानूनी औपचारिकताएँ पूरी करने के बाद, गिरफ्तार व्यक्ति को ज़ब्त की गई चीज़ों के साथ आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए GRPS/खड़गपुर को सौंप दिया गया। इस संबंध में, GRPS/खड़गपुर ने NDPS एक्ट की धारा 20(b)(ii)(B) के तहत 15.05.2026 तारीख को नंबर 58/2026 के तहत केस दर्ज किया है।
यह सफल ऑपरेशन गैर-कानूनी गतिविधियों को रोकने और रेलवे परिसरों और ट्रेनों में सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए RPF की लगातार प्रतिबद्धता को दिखाता है।
RPF Kharagpur Unearth Ganja Smuggling Attempt at Hijli Railway Station

In a major success against illegal transportation of narcotic substances through railways, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Hijli Post along with RPF/CIB/Kharagpur apprehended one person carrying contraband Ganja at Hijli Railway Station on 14.05.2026.
Acting on reliable source information regarding transportation of contraband articles through trains, a joint raid and search operation was conducted by officers and staff of RPF/Post/Hijli and RPF/CIB/Kharagpur under the supervision of PC/RPF/Post/Hijli Shri Shashi Shankar.
During the operation, Train No. 12815 Nandankanan Express arrived at Platform No. 01 of Hijli Railway Station at about 17:30 hrs. The raiding team identified one suspicious person carrying a blue colour travelling bag near the general coach. On interrogation, the person initially attempted to mislead the team by giving inconsistent statements. Upon sustained questioning, he disclosed his identity as Anil Singh, aged about 33 years, resident of Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
The individual admitted that the bag in his possession contained Ganja which he had collected near Bhubaneswar Railway Station and was transporting towards Fatehpur for illegal sale for personal gain. He failed to produce any valid authority or legal documents for carrying the contraband substance.
Following due procedure under the provisions of the NDPS Act, the detained person opted to have the search conducted in presence of a Gazetted Officer. Accordingly, Shri Jitendra Kumar Singh, ASC/RPF/WS/KGP attended the spot as Gazetted Officer in presence of independent witnesses and RPF staff.
During the search, four packets wrapped with brown cello tape containing suspected Ganja were recovered from the travelling bag. The total weight of the seized contraband was found to be approximately 4 Kg 100 grams with an approx. market value of Rs. 2,05,000/-.
The recovered contraband, along with the bag and railway ticket, was seized following all legal formalities. Subsequently, the accused was arrested at about 00:45 hrs on 15.05.2026 under relevant provisions of the NDPS Act. During personal search at RPF/Post/Hijli, two mobile phones along with SIM cards were recovered from his possession. His family members were also informed regarding the arrest.
After completion of all legal formalities, the arrested person along with the seized articles was handed over to GRPS/Kharagpur for further legal action. In this connection, GRPS/Kharagpur has registered a case vide No. 58/2026 dated 15.05.2026 under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act.
The successful operation reflects the continued commitment of RPF towards curbing illegal activities and ensuring safety and security in railway premises and trains.
RPF Team Kharagpur Apprehends Two Ticket Touts from Egra; Illegal Railway Reservation Tickets Seized

Acting on reliable source information regarding illegal railway ticket touting activities, a special drive was conducted by the RPF Team Kharagpur on 16.05.2026 at City Booking Counter, Egra, Purba Medinipur under the supervision of IPF Shri M. K. Sannyasi, Incharge RPF Team Kharagpur.
The team conducted the drive from 10:50 hrs onwards. During the operation, at about 12:10 hrs, two persons were noticed purchasing railway reservation tickets and moving suspiciously outside the booking counter premises. The suspects were intercepted and detained for verification.
On interrogation, the detained persons disclosed their identities as:
Swapan Das (37), resident of Barada, PS-Egra, Dist-Purba Medinipur (WB)
Amin Khan (31), resident of Amdai, Kalyanpur, PS-Egra, Dist-Purba Medinipur (WB)
During checking, the RPF team recovered several railway reservation tickets, requisition slips, mobile phones and cash from their possession. The seized tickets included Tatkal and Premium Tatkal tickets of various trains valued at approximately Rs. 6,565/-.
Upon questioning, both individuals failed to produce any valid authority for procuring railway tickets on behalf of others. During enquiry, they admitted that they used to procure railway tickets from the booking counter on demand and supply them to customers after charging extra money for personal gain. Examination of their mobile phones also revealed WhatsApp chats related to illegal touting activities.
As the recovered materials and circumstances indicated involvement in illegal railway ticket touting activities, all seized articles were taken into possession by the RPF team in presence of witnesses. Subsequently, both accused persons were arrested under relevant provisions of the Railways Act.
Based on the complaint submitted by the RPF Task Team, a case was registered at RPF Post Digha against both accused persons. They were later forwarded to the Hon’ble Court of CJM/Tamluk for legal proceedings.
