RPF मिदनापुर ने तत्काल टिकट दलाल को पकड़ा
मिदनापुर, 10 जून 2026:
टिकट दलाली पर रोक लगाने और असली यात्रियों के लिए ट्रांसपेरेंट टिकट बुकिंग पक्का करने की अपनी लगातार कोशिशों के तहत, रेलवे प्रोटेक्शन फोर्स (RPF), मिदनापुर ने 09.06.2026 को पैसेंजर रिज़र्वेशन सिस्टम (PRS) सेंटर, मिदनापुर में एक स्पेशल विजिलेंस चेक किया।
CCTV सर्विलांस इनपुट और भरोसेमंद सोर्स से मिली जानकारी के आधार पर, RPF पोस्ट मिदनापुर के अधिकारियों और स्टाफ ने, श्री ओ.पी. गढ़वाल, इंस्पेक्टर, RPF/पोस्ट/मिदनापुर की देखरेख में, एक संदिग्ध व्यक्ति को हिरासत में लिया, जिसने PRS काउंटर से तत्काल स्लीपर रिज़र्वेशन टिकट लिया था।
पूछताछ के दौरान, उस व्यक्ति ने अपनी पहचान श्री पीयूष सेन (39 साल) के रूप में बताई, जो तोरापारा, पश्चिम मेदिनीपुर का रहने वाला है। आगे पूछताछ करने पर, उसने निजी पैसे के फायदे के लिए रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन टिकटों की खरीद और बिक्री में शामिल होने की बात मानी।
इसके बाद, सर्च और सीज़फ़ायर ऑपरेशन चलाया गया, जिससे ये चीज़ें मिलीं:
ट्रेन नंबर 22831 का एक तत्काल रेलवे यात्रा-कम-रिज़र्वेशन टिकट, जिसकी कीमत लगभग ₹3,940/- है।
दो भरे हुए रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन रिक्विजिशन फ़ॉर्म।
कैश रकम ₹160/-।
सीज़ की गई चीज़ों को सबूत के तौर पर अपने पास रख लिया गया, और रेलवे एक्ट के संबंधित नियमों के तहत आरोपी के खिलाफ़ कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू की गई।
गिरफ़्तार व्यक्ति को, सीज़ की गई चीज़ों और संबंधित केस के डॉक्युमेंट्स के साथ, आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए खड़गपुर के ज्यूडिशियल रेलवे मजिस्ट्रेट (JRM) की कोर्ट में भेजा जा रहा है।
खड़गपुर डिवीज़न रेगुलर निगरानी, रिज़र्वेशन काउंटरों पर सरप्राइज़ चेकिंग, और कोऑर्डिनेटेड एंटी-टाउटिंग ड्राइव चला रहा है ताकि बिना इजाज़त टिकटिंग एक्टिविटीज़ को खत्म किया जा सके और यह पक्का किया जा सके कि रेलवे टिकट सही और ट्रांसपेरेंट तरीके से असली यात्रियों को मिलें।

RPF Midnapore Apprehends Tatkal Ticket Tout
Midnapore, 10 June 2026:
As part of its ongoing efforts to curb ticket touting and ensure transparent ticket booking for genuine passengers, the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Midnapore, conducted a special vigilance check at the Passenger Reservation System (PRS) Centre, Midnapore on 09.06.2026.
Acting on CCTV surveillance inputs and reliable source information, officers and staff of RPF Post Midnapore, under the supervision of Shri O.P. Garhwal, Inspector, RPF/Post/Midnapore, detained a suspicious person who had collected a Tatkal sleeper reservation ticket from the PRS counter.
During interrogation, the individual identified himself as Shri Pijush Sen (39 years), resident of Torapara, Paschim Medinipur. On further questioning, he admitted to being involved in the procurement and sale of railway reservation tickets for personal financial gain.
Subsequently, a search and seizure operation was conducted, leading to the recovery of the following items:
One Tatkal railway journey-cum-reservation ticket for Train No. 22831, valued at approximately ₹3,940/-.
Two filled-in railway reservation requisition forms.
Cash amounting to ₹160/-.
The seized articles were taken into custody as evidence, and legal proceedings were initiated against the accused under the relevant provisions of the Railways Act.
The arrested person, along with the seized articles and relevant case documents, is being forwarded to the Hon’ble Court of the Judicial Railway Magistrate (JRM), Kharagpur, for further legal action.
Kharagpur Division continues to conduct regular surveillance, surprise checks at reservation counters, and coordinated anti-touting drives to eliminate unauthorized ticketing activities and ensure that railway tickets are available to genuine passengers in a fair and transpa
rent manner.
