अतिक्रमण के खिलाफ मेदिनीपुर में चला बुलडोजर

मेदिनीपुर के गुड्स शेड रोड के पास गेट बाज़ार और हमालपारा इलाकों में बिना इजाज़त के बने ढांचों से कथित तौर पर गैर-कानूनी शराब बेचने की जानकारी मिलने पर, 26.08.2026 को एक प्लान किया गया बेदखली अभियान चलाया गया।
“ऑपरेशन भूमि” नाम के इस अभियान के दौरान, रेलवे परिसर से 05 बिना इजाज़त के कच्चे (टेम्पररी) ढांचों को तोड़कर हटा दिया गया। इन ढांचों में शामिल हैं:
03 ढांचों, हर एक का साइज़ लगभग 10 ft × 7 ft
02 ढांचों, हर एक का साइज़ लगभग 7 ft × 3 ft

ऑपरेशन के दौरान कुल कब्ज़ा किया गया एरिया लगभग 252 स्क्वायर फीट था।
बेदखली और तोड़ने का काम संबंधित रेलवे अधिकारियों और कानून लागू करने वाली एजेंसियों की मिली-जुली कार्रवाई से शांति और कामयाबी से किया गया। ऑपरेशन बिना किसी अनहोनी के पूरा हुआ।
यह कार्रवाई खड़गपुर डिवीजन की रेलवे परिसर को बिना इजाज़त के कब्ज़ों और गैर-कानूनी कामों से मुक्त रखने की लगातार कोशिश को दिखाती है, साथ ही रेलवे प्रॉपर्टी और यात्रियों की सुरक्षा भी पक्की करती है।

Acting upon an information regarding alleged illegal liquor selling from unauthorized structures in the Gate Bazar and Hamalpara areas along Goods Shed Road, Medinipur, a planned eviction drive was conducted on 26.08.2026.
During the drive named “Operation Bhoomi”, 05 unauthorized kachha (temporary) structures were dismantled and removed from railway premises. The structures included:
03 structures, each measuring approximately 10 ft × 7 ft
02 structures, each measuring approximately 7 ft × 3 ft

The total encroached area cleared during the operation was approximately 252 square feet.
The eviction and dismantling work were carried out peacefully and successfully with coordinated action by the concerned railway authorities and law-enforcement agencies. The operation was completed without any untoward incident.
This action reflects the continued commitment of the Kharagpur Division to keep railway premises free from unauthorized encroachments and illegal activities, while ensuring the safety and security of railway property and passengers.
