गैर-कानूनी टिकटिंग गतिविधियों पर रोक लगाने और रेलवे सेवाओं तक सही पहुंच सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, खड़गपुर की रेलवे सुरक्षा बल टीम ने बालेश्वर में एक सफल ड्राइव-कम-एंबुश ऑपरेशन किया।
22.04.2026 को, बालेश्वर इलाके में रेलवे रिज़र्वेशन टिकटों की गैर-कानूनी खरीद और सप्लाई के बारे में पक्की जानकारी के आधार पर, RPF टीम/खड़गपुर, RPF/CIB/खड़गपुर, और RPF/पोस्ट/बालेश्वर के स्टाफ की एक जॉइंट टीम ने इंस्पेक्टर-इन-चार्ज, RPF टीम/खड़गपुर की देखरेख में एक टारगेटेड ऑपरेशन किया।
बालेश्वर रेलवे स्टेशन के पूरब की ओर सुभद्रा रेस्ट हाउस के पास किए गए ऑपरेशन के दौरान, लगभग 18:30 बजे एक संदिग्ध व्यक्ति को रोका गया। पूछताछ करने पर उसकी पहचान चंदन कुमार पति (39 साल) के तौर पर हुई, जो ओडिशा के बालेश्वर जिले का रहने वाला है।

वह व्यक्ति रेलवे टिकट रखने के लिए कोई वैलिड ऑथराइज़ेशन नहीं दिखा पाया और उसने माना कि टिकट पैसे के फ़ायदे के लिए गलत तरीकों से खरीदा गया था। उसके मोबाइल फ़ोन की जांच से गैर-कानूनी टिकट खरीदने की गतिविधियों से जुड़े और सबूत मिले। जांच के आधार पर, यह काम रेलवे एक्ट, 1989 के सेक्शन 143 का उल्लंघन पाया गया। आरोपी को गिरफ्तारी का कारण बताने के बाद लगभग 19:15 बजे गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। सभी कानूनी प्रक्रियाओं का ठीक से पालन किया गया, और ज़ब्त की गई चीज़ों को गवाहों की मौजूदगी में हिरासत में ले लिया गया।
RPF/पोस्ट/बालेश्वर में रेलवे एक्ट के सेक्शन 143 के तहत केस दर्ज किया गया है। आरोपी को आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए SDJM, बालेश्वर की माननीय कोर्ट में पेश किया जाएगा।
RPF गैर-कानूनी टिकटिंग के तरीकों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई करने के लिए तैयार है और लोगों से अपील करती है कि वे टिकट सिर्फ़ ऑथराइज़्ड रेलवे चैनलों से ही बुक करें।
RPF Kharagpur Team Apprehends Person for Illegal Railway Ticket Procurement at Baleshwar
In a continued effort to curb illegal ticketing activities and ensure fair access to railway services, the Railway Protection Force team of Kharagpur conducted a successful drive-cum-ambush operation at Baleshwar.
On 22.04.2026, based on credible information regarding illegal procuring and supplying of railway reservation tickets in the Baleshwar area, a joint team comprising staff from RPF Team/Kharagpur, RPF/CIB/Kharagpur, and RPF/Post/Baleshwar carried out a targeted operation under the supervision of the Inspector-in-Charge, RPF Team/Kharagpur.
During the operation, conducted near Subhadra Rest House on the east side of Baleshwar Railway Station, a suspicious individual was intercepted at about 18:30 hrs. Upon questioning, he was identified as Chandan Kumar Pati (39 years), a resident of District Baleshwar, Odisha.
A thorough search led to the recovery of:
One Tatkal railway reservation ticket (PNR No. 6702535747) for Train No. 22823 from Baleshwar to New Delhi (Journey Date: 23.04.2026, Class: 2AC, Value: ₹5160/-)
One Android mobile phone
Cash amounting to ₹5,430/-
The individual failed to produce any valid authorization for possession of the railway ticket and admitted that the ticket was procured through improper means for monetary gain. Examination of his mobile phone further revealed incriminating evidence related to illegal ticket procurement activities.
Based on the findings, the act was found to be in violation of Section 143 of the Railways Act, 1989. The accused was arrested at about 19:15 hrs after being informed of the grounds of arrest. All legal procedures were duly followed, and the seized items were taken into custody in the presence of witnesses.
A case has been registered under Section 143 of the Railways Act at RPF/Post/Baleshwar. The accused will be produced before the Hon’ble Court of SDJM, Baleshwar for further legal proceedings.
