• Kharagpur, SER KGP organised VIRTUAL PRESS CONFERENCE on achievements by KGP DIVISION during covid crisis Manoranjan Pradhan, DRM briefed the press along with ADRM V.K Chowdhry, Sr. DOM S.K Verma & other officials from his meeting room. DRM Pradhan were satisfied on running of trains, speedy train trial, making mask & Sanitizers & other development works in this pandemic. 

 Due to lockdown in april kgp divn parcel traffic in parcel trains were 579 tonnes with its earning 2086 thousands but we jumped in last three month & reached 7744 tonnes parcel traffic with earning 28641 thousand said Sr. Dcm cum PRO Aditya kr chowdhry.

KGP division has Achieved the milestone of maximum speed of 130 Kmph by doing the speed trial of 02245 HWH – YPR Duronto special over ADL- KGP section ( middle line) on 09.08.2020

The following parcel express trains are being currently run by kgp division :

1.Shalimar – ranchi ; thrice a week(M, W, F)
2. Howrah-Bangalore ; thrice a week ( W, F, Su)
3. Shakimar-Porbandar ; thrice a week (W, F, Su)
4. Shalimar-CSTM ; Daily
5.Howrah-secunderabad ; once a week ( Sat)

 Following passenger special trains are being handled by KGP division currently:

1. 02245/46 HWH – YPR ; Five days in a week
2. 02021/22 HWH – BBN ; Daily
3. 02810/09 HWH – CSMT ; weekly
4. 02833/34 HWH – ADI; Weekly
5. 02073/7 HWH – BBS Janshatabdi ; daily
6.02213/14 SHM – PNBE ; Thrice a week
7. 02823/24 BBS – NDLS ; daily
8. 02801/02 BBS – NDLS ; Daily.
9. 02703/04 HWH – SC ;
Daily
10. 02201/02 SDAH – BBS Duronto ; Thrice a week.
