পশ্চিমবঙ্গ আশা কর্মী ইউনিয়ন এ আই ইউ টি ইউ সি অনুমোদিত পশ্চিমবাংলা জুড়ে cmoh দপ্তর ঘেরাও কর্মসূচি ছিল। পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার ২১ টি ব্লক থেকে সহস্রাধিক এর উপর আশা কর্মী মেদিনীপুর বাজ টাউন মাঠ থেকে মিছিল করে জেলাশাসক দপ্তরের সামনে পথ অবরোধ করে। এই বিক্ষোভ অবরোধে আশা কর্মীদের ইনসেন্টিপের টাক আট ভাগে দেওয়ার নির্দেশের প্রতিলিপি জেলা সম্পাদিকা পাপিয়া অধিকারী অগ্নিসংযোগ করে। সবাই হাতে হাত রেখে আগামী দিনে দীর্ঘস্থায়ী আন্দোলন গড়ে তোলার জন্য প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ হন।এই বিক্ষোভমিছিল সি এম ও এইচ দপ্তরকে প্রায় দু’ঘণ্টা ধরে অবরোধ করে রাখে। ১৩ দফা দাবি আদায় না হলে আগামী 3 রা আগস্ট থেকে পশ্চিম বাংলা জুড়ে কর্মবিরতি পালন করা হবে। জেলা সম্পাদিকা পাপিয়া অধিকারী নেতৃত্বে একদল প্রতিনিধি সি এম ও এইচ এর নিকট দাবি পত্র তুলে দেন। এবং জানানো হয় গত এপ্রিল মাস থেকে এই ৮ ভাগের টাকা একভাবে দেওয়ার প্রতিশ্রুতি স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তর দিয়েছিল। স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তর এই প্রতিশ্রুতি রক্ষা করতে পারেন নি। Cmoh জানান দু’মাসের মধ্যে এই সমস্যার সমাধান হয়ে যাবে। এদিকে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ আশা কর্মী ইউনিয়নের নেতৃবৃন্দ আগামী তেসরা আগস্ট থেকে পশ্চিমবাংলা ব্যাপী কর্মবিরতি পালনের আহ্বান জানানো হয়। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন এআই ইউ টিইউসি জেলা সম্পাদক পূর্ণচন্দ্র বেরা ও জেলা নেতা দীনেশ মেকআপ।
