26.23 करोड़ से बने सीएमई गेट व गेटबाजार रेल ओवरब्रिज का हुआ व उद्घाटन, हाथीगोलापुल, टाउनथाना व गिरि मैदान ओवरब्रिज का भी कार्य जल्द पूरा होने का दावा

खड़गपुर, 26.23 करोड़ से बने सीएमई गेट व गेटबाजार रेल ओवरब्रिज का उद्घाटन सांसद दिलीप घोष ने फीता काट कर किया। इस अवसर पर सांसद दिलीप ने कहा कि टाउन थाना के पास बन रहे ओवरब्रिज में लगने वाले इस्पात उपकरण का आर्डर दुर्गापुर में दिया गया है उक्त ओवरब्रिज सहित गिरि मैदान फ्लाईओवर व हाथीगोलापुर का का भी कार्य जल्द पूरा हो जाएगा। उन्होने कहा कि खड़गपुर प्राचीन शहर है व इसके बड़े इलाके रेल में है इसलिए रेल इलाकों का विकास होना ज्यादा जरुरी है उन्होने रेल अधिकारियों के कार्यों की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि बीते कई सालों से वे अधिकारियों से विकास कार्यों को लेकर वार्ता कर रहे हैं उन्होने कहा कि रेल मंत्री वैष्णव से भी उनकी बातचीत हुई है व उन्होने खड़गपुर का दौरा करने का आश्वासन दिया है। सांसद ने कहा कि सीएमई गेट के पास काली मंदिर था जिसका पुनर्उद्धार किया गया है व भाजपा के पार्टी कार्यालय को भी अन्यत्र शिफट किया गया ताकि विकास कार्यों में कोई अड़चन ना आए।

सांसद ने कहा कि रेल इलाको में पेयजल संकट मिटाने के लिए वाटर ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट का कार्य भी जल्द खत्म होगा बजट में उसके लिए पैसे का आबंटन किया गया है ताकि रेल शहर से पेयजल संकट को दूर किया जा सके। इस अवसर पर खड़गपुर के डीआरएम मनोरंजन प्रधान ने रेल ओवरब्रिज के काम को जल्द पूरा करने के लिए इंजीनियरों की सराहना की।ज्ञात हो कि उक्त ब्रिज में आवागमन पहले ही शुरु हो चुका है आज दोनों ब्रिज का विधिवत उद्घाटन किया गया। रेल प्रशासन के अनुसार सीएमई ओवरब्रिज पर 12.72 व गेटबाजार ओवरब्रिज पर 13.51 करोड़ खर्च हुए। इस अवसर पर सीनियर डीएमसी राजेश कुमार व अन्य वरीय अधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे।

To improve the parameter of infrastructure of Kharagpur, this division has already
taken steps for provision of new ROBs for the smooth transportation of general public in and
around Kharagpur locality. Due to COVID pandemic situation, the developmental work has
been hampered for more than one year but now various developmental work is on the verge
of completion. Kharagpur is a NSG-2 category (Erstwhile A1 category) station and also an
important junction and Divisional HQ of S.E.Railway. Kharagpur is a civil sub-divisional town
of Paschim medinipur, situated adjacent to the District HQ town of Paschim Midnapur. But
from Rail transportation point of view, Kharagpur is the major location where traffic towards
different directions viz: Western, southern, Eastern flows on regular manner. Hijli station has
already been developed as an alternate terminal station to Kharagpur for traffic towards
northern & southern bound trains.
Sri Dilip Ghosh, Hon’ble MP, Medinipur has dedicated the Road over bridge no. 133
and 133B constructed near to Gate bazar & Workshop area for the benefit of general public
of Kharapgur on 04.07.2022 at 16:00hrs. The construction of ROB (Road over bridge) no.
133 & 133B near to Gate Bazar & Workshop area have been completed with an approx cost
of Rs. 12.72Crore & 13.51Crore respectively. It will enhance station around infrastructure and
smooth movement of the general public. Sri M. Pradhan, Divisional Railway
Manager/Kharagpur, Sri Rajesh Kumar, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Kharagpur and
other railway officers and officials were also present during the occasi
