सेंट जॉन एम्बुलेंस ब्रिगेड के खड़गपुर वर्कशॉप यूनिट की ओर से रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन

 

St John Ambulance Brigade, Kharagpur Workshop Unit today (26th September 2023, Tuesday) organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp at St John Ambulance Brigade, Kharagpur Workshop Unit Office premises.

The programme was marked by great zeal & enthusiasm of the Blood Donors who spontaneously came forward to donate Blood voluntarily. The Blood Banks of S E Railway Divl. Hospital, Kharagpur and the Sub Divisional Hospital, Kharagpur were present to collect Blood from the Donors.

A considerable 94 Donors donated their Blood at the Camp out of which there were 6 Female Blood Donors & 20 New or First Time Blood Group Donors. The S E Railway Divl. Hospital, Kharagpur Blood Bank collected 36 Units of Blood & the Sub Divisional Hospital, Kharagpur Blood Bank collected 58 Units of Blood.

The Camp was marked by the august presence of Dr Tapas Mazumdar, ACMD/S E Railway, Garden Reach & District Secretary SJAB, S E Railway, Sri Ram Prasad Bain, Chief Works Manager, S E Railway Workshop, Kharagpur,

Dr R K Behera, Chief Medical Superintendant, S E Railway, Kharagpur & Sri Joydeep Sengupta, Workshop Personnel Officer, S E Railway & various Branch Officers of S E Railway Workshop, Kharagpur.

The sincere initiative reflected the true spirit of the movement of the St John Ambulance Brigade, Kharagpur Workshop Unit.
