ACE PLAYERS OF SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY WIN MEDALS IN 19TH ASIAN GAMES

 

Shri Mithun Manjunath, Badminton player of South Eastern Railway is a part of Indian Badminton team which won Silver in the 19th Asian games being held at Hangzhou, China from 23rd September to 8th October, 2023.

Ms Sutirtha Mukherjee, also a player of South Eastern Railway has secured Bronze Medal in Women’s Doubles of Table Tennis in the 19th Asian Games going on at Hangzhou, China.

South Eastern Railway congratulates Shri Mithun Manjunath and Ms. Sutirtha Mukherjee for their dedication and exceptional performance.

GENERAL MANAGER SER INAUGURATES EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT AT HEADQUARTERS, GARDEN REACH

as a part of observance of Swachhata Pakhwara

Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager, South Eastern Railway inaugurated an Effluent Treatment Plant at SER Headquarters,  Garden Reach on 2nd October, 2023. South Eastern Railway is observing “Swachhata Pakhwada – Swachhata Hi Seva” from 16th September to 2nd October, 2023.

 

This Effluent Treatment Plant at Garden Reach has a water treatment capacity of 60KLD per day. At this plant hospital waste water will be treated prior to connecting with river ganga. This is an environment friendly initiative by SER.

Then the General Manager, Additional General Manager, Principal Head of the Departments, officers and staff of SER took part in a Tree plantation programme in front of SERSA Indoor Sports Complex, Garden Reach.

 

After that, Shri Mishra inspected the ‘Shramdaan for Swachhata’ event at South Colony and interacted with some residents.

 

Later, a Nukkad Natak was performed by the members of SER Bharat Scouts and Guides on the theme of “Swachhata Hi Seva” at BNR Officers’ Club, Garden Reach. General Manager distributed the awards among the winners of Essay and Drawing Competitions organised during the Swachhata Pakhwada. He also felicitated RPF personnel and some employees for their active participation in the Cleanliness Drives during the Swachhata Pakhwada
