वेस्ट बंगाल फारेन लिकर सीएस आफ एंड आन शाप एंड होटल ओनर्स एसोशिएसन का वार्षिक सभा संपन्न,  गली चौराहे में शराब दुकान खुलने पर चिंता, लाइसेंस फीस कम करने की मांग 

 

खड़गपुर, वेस्ट बंगाल फारेन लिकर सीएस आफ एंड आन शाप एंड होटल ओनर्स एसोशिएसन के पश्चिम मेदिनीपुर साउथ डिस्ट्रिक्ट कमेटि का वार्षिक सभा आज होटल पार्क में हुआ। इस अवसर पर पत्रकारों को संबोधित करते हुए स्टेट असिस्टेंट जनरल सेक्रेट्री मिहिर चक्रवर्ती ने कहा कि गली चौराहे में शराब दुकान खुलना चिंता की बात है उन्होने कहा कि निगमों के लिए 1 किमी, नगरपालिकाओं के लिए 2 किमी व पंचायतों के लिए तीन किमी के अंतराल में शराब दुकान होनी चाहिए पर अब गली गली शराब दुकान खुलने से दुकानदारों की आमदानी ही सिर्फ नहीं घटी है बल्कि समाज में भी प्रतिकूल असर पड़ रहा है।

 

जिला सलाहकार संजीत बनर्जी ने कहा कि शराब दुकान के लिए लाइसेंस फीस कम करने की मांग करते हुए कहा कि इस संबंध में खड़गपुर नगरपालिका के चेयरपर्सन कल्याणी घोष को अवगत कराया गया है लाइसेंस फीस लगभग तीन साल पहले लगभग पांच गुणा बढ़ोत्तरी कर दी गई है। उन्होने आशा जताया कि इस संबंध में सहानुभुतिपूर्वक विचार करने का आश्वासन दिया गया है।

 

 

इसके अलावा प्राफिट मार्जिन कमीशन को लगभग छह फीसदी से बढ़ाकर 15 फीसदी किए जाने की मांग की।  उन्होने सेल टारगेट फिक्स जाने को लेकर सभा में ब्रेकरेज चार्ज व ट्रांसपोरटेशन चार्ज पर भी चिंता जाहिर की गई। दुकानदारों का कहना था कि उनलोगों के साथ प्रशासन मनमानी करती है जिसके कारण दुकानदार परेशान है। 

 

 

इस अवसर पर नई कमेटि की घोषणा की गई जिसमें पदाधिकारियों में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं किया गया कुल चार सदस्यों की संख्या में इजाफा हुआ। ज्ञात हो कि पश्चिम मेदिनीपुर जिला संगठन के साउथ युनिट में खड़गपुर झाड़ग्राम, केशियाड़ी बेलदा, सबंग पिंगला व डेबरा आदि इलाके आते हैं।

 

 

इस अवसर पर पूर्व पार्षद व टीएमसी नेता रबि शंकर पांडे, सेंट्रल कमेटि के गौतम मुखर्जी,  जिला अध्यक्ष जुगल किशोर दास, जिला कमेटि के कार्य़कारी अध्यक्ष कुलविंदर सिंह धामी, जिला सचिव रंजन घोष, नीरंजन साहा व अन्य उपस्थित थे। इशके अलावा पूर्व मेदिनीपुर, वर्द्धमान, हुगली, हावड़ा, नदिया, मुर्शिदाबाद, मालदा सहित कई अन्य जिलों के पदाधिकारी शामिल हुए थे।

Annual meeting of West Bengal Foreign Liquor CS Off and On Shop and Hotel Owners Association concluded

Concern over opening of liquor shop in street intersection, demand to reduce license fee

Kharagpur, West Bengal The annual meeting of Paschim Medinipur South District Committee of Foreign Liquor CS Off & On Shop and Hotel Owners Association was held today at Hotel Park. Addressing the journalists on this occasion, State Assistant General Secretary Mihir Chakraborty said that opening of liquor shops at street intersections is a matter of concern. He said that there is a limit of 1 km for corporations, 2 km for municipalities and three km for panchayats. There should be a liquor shop but now due to the opening of liquor shops in every street, not only the income of the shopkeepers has decreased but it is also having an adverse effect on the society. District Advisor Sanjit Banerjee, demanding reduction in the license fee for the liquor shop, said that Kharagpur Municipality Chairperson Kalyani Ghosh has been informed in this regard that the license fee has been increased almost five times about three years ago. He expressed hope that an assurance has been given to consider sympathetically in this regard. Apart from this, there was a demand to increase the profit margin commission from about six percent to 15 percent. He also expressed concern over breakage charges and transportation charges in the meeting regarding fixing of sale target. The shopkeepers said that the administration treats them arbitrarily due to which the shopkeepers are upset.

 

On this occasion, a new committee was announced in which there was no change in the office bearers but the total number of members increased by four. It should be known that areas like Kharagpur Jhargram, Keshiadi Belda, Sabang Pingla and Debra etc. come in the South Unit of West Medinipur District Organization. Former councilor and TMC leader Rabi Shankar Pandey, Central Committee’s Gautam Mukherjee, District President Jugal Kishore Das, District Committee’s Working President Kulwinder Singh Dhami, District Secretaries Ranjan Ghosh, Niranjan Saha and others were present on the occasion. Apart from this, officials from many other districts including Purba Medinipur, Bardhaman, Hooghly, Howrah, Nadia, Murshidabad, Malda had participated.
