बंगीय स्वर्ण शिल्पी समिति के अध्यक्ष बने बिक्रम राव, स्वर्णकारों के खिलाफ बढ़ते अपराध पर चिंता  

 

खड़गपुर। बगीय स्वर्ण शिल्पी समिति के खड़गपुर शाखा के 20वें वार्षिक सम्मेलन में सर्वसम्मति से बिक्रम राव को अध्यक्ष बनाया गया जबकि प्रियव्रत कर्मकार को कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष व सुबीर सरकार को सचिव चुना गया।  नवनियुक्त अध्यक्ष बिक्रम राव ने कहा कि एक माह के भीतर ही बाकी पदाधिकायों का चयन कर लिया जाएगा।  

खड़गपुर शहर के निजी लॉज में कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर बिक्रम राव ने कहा कि खड़गपुर  में लगभग 150 दुकानें है व ढ़ाई सौ लोग कार्यरत है।

 

 

सचिव सुबीर सरकार ने कहा कि बीते तीन महीनों में राज्य में स्वर्णकारों के साथ 6 बड़ी वारदात हुई है जिसमें 2 लोग मारे गए व एक घायल हुआ है। समिति की ओर से कहा गया कि सरकार द्वारा चलाए जा रहे सामाजिक सुरक्षा योजनाओं का लाभ स्वर्ण कारीगरो को मिले इसके लिए पहल की जाएगी। ज्ञात हो कि बंगाल के पश्चिम मेदिनीपुर जिले से बड़ी संख्या में कारीगर

मंबुई, दिल्ली, गुजरात जैसे दूसरे बड़े शहरों में जाकर सोने के कारीगर का काम करते है इसके अलावा कई लोग इस राज्य में भी जीविकापार्जन करते हैं पर असंगठित क्षेत्र होने के कारण कारीगरों को सामाजिक सुरक्षा नहीं मिल पाता।

 

 

ज्ञात हो कि समिति की वार्षिक अधिवेशन प्रत्येक चार वर्ष में होती है। इससे पहले राजेन शुक्ला कमेटि के शहर अध्यक्ष रहे हैं। इस अवसर पर समिति के प्रदेश महासचिव टगर चंद्र पोद्दार व अन्य उपस्थित थे।  

 

Vikram Rao became the president of Bangiya Swarna Shilpi Samiti, concern over increasing crime against goldmerchant

Kharagpur. In the 20th annual conference of Kharagpur branch of Bagiya Swarna Shilpi Samiti, Bikram Rao was unanimously made the president while Priyabrat Karmakar was elected the working president and Subir Sarkar was elected the secretary. Newly appointed President Bikram Rao said that the remaining office bearers will be selected within a month.

 

 

The program was organized in a private lodge in Kharagpur . On this occasion, Bikram Rao said that there are about 150 shops in Kharagpur and 250 people are employed. Secretary Subir Sarkar said that in the last three months, there have been 6 major incidents with goldsmiths in the state in which 2 people were killed and one was injured. On behalf of the committee, it was said that initiatives will be taken to ensure that gold artisans get the benefits of social security schemes run by the government.

 

 

It is known that a large number of artisans from West Medinipur district of Bengal go to other big cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Gujarat and work as goldsmiths. Apart from this, many people earn their living in this state also, but due to it being an unorganized sector, the artisans do not have to work as goldsmiths. Social security is not available. It may be noted that the annual meeting of the committee is held every four years. Before this, Rajen Shukla had been the  president of the samity. State general secretary, Tagar Chandra Poddar and others were present on this occasion.
