CONTINUATION OF

 SANTRAGACHI-MGR CHENNAI CENTRAL-SANTRAGACHI SPECIAL

 

Kolkata, 28^th March, 2024

 

Keeping in view the extra rush of the passengers, it has been decided to continue Special Train as per the following schedule:

 

08836 Santragachi – MGR Chennai Central special will leave Santragachi on 30.03.2024 at 18:00 hrs and will reach MGR Chennai Central at 20:30 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, 08837 MGR Chennai Central – Santragachi Special will leave MGR Chennai Central on 01.04.2024 at 10:45 hrs and will reach Santragachi at 13:10 hrs, the next day.

The Special train will have stoppages at Kharagpur and Baleshwar in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager, SER along with Shri K.R Chaudhary,DRM kharagpur today conducted a detailed inspection of the. SANTRAGACHI- SHALIMAR section of KGP division.

 

They started with inspecting the Coaching depot at SANTRAGACHI followed by the review of ongoing development works at the Station and also visited the mechanised laundary unit at SANTRAGACHI.

 

Later on GM/SER carried out inspection of the coaching depot and electronic interlocking panel at Padmapukur.

 

The inspection concludes at Shalimar station where both the officers along with other divisional and HQ branch officers inspected the station and yard. GM SER also visited the proposed site for the construction of Vande Bharat maintenance depot at Shalimar near the existing parcel office.
