SALIMA TETE, THE SPORTS-STAR OF SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY

SELECTED AS THE CAPTAIN OF INDIAN WOMEN’S HOCKEY TEAM

Ms. Salima Tete, the internationally acclaimed hockey player of South Eastern Railway has been selected as the captain of Indian Women’s Hockey Team for the forthcoming FIH-Pro League 2023-24 to be held at Belgium and England.

            Ms. Salima Tete has represented India in many international tournaments and was a member of Indian Women’s Hockey Team which won the Bronze medal in 19^th Asian Games held at China. She was recently honoured with the prestigious Hockey India Balbir Singh Sr. Award for Player of The Year 2023 in the Women’s category at the 6th Hockey India Annual Awards 2023.

Three more players of South Eastern Railway have also been selected in the 24-member squad of Indian Women’s Hockey Team for this tournament. They are Ms. Nikki Pradhan, Ms. Sangita Kumari and Ms. Deepika Soreng.

South Eastern Railway is very proud of its players and wishes them every success in their future endeavours.

• 08412/08411 Bhubaneswar-Baleshwar-Bhubaneswar MEMU Special journey commencing on 03.05.2024, 05.05.2024, 06.05.2024, 08.05.2024, 10.05.2024, 12.05.2024, 13.05.2024, 15.05.2024, 17.05.2024, 19.05.2024, 20.05.2024, 22.05.2024, 24.05.2024, 26.05.2024, 27.05.2024, 29.05.2024 & 31.05.2024 will be Short terminated at/short originated from Bhadrak.

 

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS DUE TO DEVELOPMENTAL WORKS IN SOUTH EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY

Due to developmental works in South East Central Railway, the following trains will remain cancelled as per given schedule:

• 18109 Tatanagar-NSC Bose Itwari Express will remain cancelled from 06.05.2024 to 08.05.2024

• 18110 NSC Bose Itwari -Tatanagar Express will remain cancelled from 08.05.2024 to 10.05.2024

CANCELLATION OF SUMMER SPECIALS
