हावड़ा-पुरी-हावड़ा वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस में चार अतिरिक्त एसी चेयर कार कोच, कर्नाटक के लिए दो नई रेलवे लाइनों की फाइनल लोकेशन सर्वे को मंजूरी
अधिक यात्रियों को सुविधा देने हेतु 22895/22896 हावड़ा-पुरी-हावड़ा वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस अब 16.05.2025 से 20 कोचों के साथ चलेगी। पहले यह ट्रेन 16 कोचों के साथ संचालित हो रही थी।
नए 20 कोचों वाले हावड़ा-पुरी-हावड़ा वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस रेक में दो एक्जीक्यूटिव क्लास और अठारह एसी चेयर कार कोच शामिल होंगे।

To accommodate more passengers, 22895/22896 Howrah-Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express will run with 20 Coaches w.e.f 16.05.2025.Earlier the train was running with 16 coaches.
The new 20 Coach Howrah-Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express rake will have two Executive Class and eighteen AC Chair Car coaches.
Drive against selling of Unapproved Packaged Drinking water in railway premises.
Continuing the special drive against the selling of Unapproved packaged drinking water and illegal vending in railway premises and trains, Commercial Officers and Inspectors of this division are carrying out intensive Inspection and checking in trains and at stations.
During the inspection, Commercial Inspectors of Baleshwar and Jhargram stations confiscated unapproved brand of packaged drinking water at Baleshwar and Jhargram station respectively.
At Baleshwar station, 13 crates of Unapproved Packaged Drinking water were found at Platform 4. The unclaimed consignment were seized by the railway supervisors for further disposal as per extant rules.
During the inspection at a tea stall of Jhargram station, 13 bottles of Unapproved Packaged Drinking water were found and the same were seized with the coordination of RPF staff for further disposal.
The inspection and safety drive against the selling of unapproved packaged drinking water and illegal vending will continue to prevent any malpractices of unauthorised and illegal vending.
