पीड़ाकाटा में हाथी ‘रामलाल’ का आतंक, पलटा कार

बुधवार सुबह रांजा बिट के घाघराचल मौजा स्थित पिरकाटा बेंच क्षेत्र में हाथी रामलाल ने ग्रामीणों के बीच दहशत फैला दी।

जानकारी के अनुसार, भोजन की तलाश में हाथी लंबे समय तक इधर-उधर भटकता रहा। कुछ भी न मिलने पर वह गुस्से में आ गया और अचानक सड़क से गुजर रही एक ईको कार पर हमला कर बैठा। हाथी के इस आक्रामक रूप को देखकर चालक ने अपनी जान बचाने के लिए गाड़ी छोड़ दी और भाग खड़ा हुआ। उसने आसपास मौजूद लोगों से मदद मांगी, लेकिन ग्रामीण डर के मारे दूर से ही घटनाक्रम देखते रहे।

घटना की सूचना पाकर वन विभाग की टीम मौके पर पहुँची और हाथी को शांत करने की कोशिश की। विभाग की ओर से बार-बार चेतावनी दी जा रही है कि जंगल में हाथियों का झुंड मौजूद है और यात्रा के दौरान सावधानी बरतना बेहद जरूरी है।

स्थानीय लोग मानते हैं कि भोजन की कमी के कारण हाथी बार-बार गाँव की ओर रुख कर रहे हैं, जिससे ऐसी घटनाएँ होती रहती हैं। यह स्थिति इंसान और वन्यजीव दोनों के लिए चिंता का विषय बन गई है।

Elephant Ramlal Creates Panic in Pirakata Bench Area:

Pirakata Bench, Ranja Bit (Ghagrachal Mouza) witnessed panic on Wednesday morning after a wild elephant named Ramlal entered the rural road in search of food.

According to local sources, the elephant roamed the area for a long time without finding anything to eat. Frustrated and angry, Ramlal suddenly came across an eco car passing by and began attacking it. The driver, shocked by the sudden aggression, abandoned the vehicle and ran for safety. He sought help from nearby villagers, who could only watch the incident from a distance out of fear.

The Forest Department later reached the spot and tried to calm the elephant. Officials have repeatedly warned locals and travelers about the presence of a herd of elephants in the nearby forest. They emphasized that such incidents occur frequently due to the lack of food in the forest, which forces elephants to enter villages.

Though the villagers were terrified, they also realized that human-elephant conflict is a growing concern and needs urgent attention to ensure safety for both people and wildlife.
