खड़गपुर रेल मंडल में विशेष टिकट चेकिंग अभियान, ₹99,555 का जुर्माना वसूला गया
खड़गपुर डिवीजन (दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे) ने 6 सितंबर 2025 को टिकट रहित और अनियमित यात्रा पर अंकुश लगाने तथा वास्तविक यात्रियों के लिए निष्पक्ष यात्रा माहौल सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से एक विशेष और व्यापक टिकट चेकिंग अभियान चलाया।
यह विशेष अभियान खड़गपुर–हावड़ा और खड़गपुर–बालेश्वर सेक्शनों की कई महत्वपूर्ण ट्रेनों में चलाया गया। इनमें 12809, 12074, 12073, 12841, 12703, 12704, 22504, 22503, 12828, 12860, 12833, 12813 आदि ट्रेनें शामिल थीं। टिकट चेकिंग टीमों ने इन ट्रेनों में अचानक जांच की और कई प्रमुख स्टेशनों पर भी चेकिंग की गई।
अभियान के दौरान संक्रैल, अंदुल और खड़गपुर स्टेशनों पर फोर्ट्रेस चेक आयोजित किए गए, जहाँ आने-जाने वाली सभी लोकल ट्रेनों में सघन टिकट जांच की गई। इसके अलावा खड़गपुर से पांसकुड़ा खंड तक शटलिंग चेक किए गए।
मुख्य परिणाम:
कुल 184 मामले बिना टिकट या अनियमित टिकट से यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों के पाए गए।
कुल ₹99,555 का जुर्माना रेलवे अधिनियम के तहत वसूला गया।
यह अभियान वरिष्ठ रेलवे अधिकारियों की देखरेख में टिकट चेकिंग स्टाफ और कमर्शियल इंस्पेक्टरों की सक्रिय भागीदारी से संपन्न हुआ।
रेल प्रशासन ने सभी यात्रियों से अनुरोध किया है कि वे उचित और वैध टिकट के साथ ही यात्रा करें और निष्पक्ष व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में सहयोग करें। रेलवे ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि ऐसे विशेष अभियान आगे भी नियमित रूप से जारी रहेंगे, ताकि राजस्व की हानि रोकी जा सके और अनियमितताओं पर रोक लगाई जा सके।

Special Ticket Checking Drive in Kharagpur Division: ₹99,555 Realized from Offenders
The Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway conducted an extensive ticket checking drive on 6th September 2025 to curb ticketless and irregular travel and to ensure a fair travel environment for genuine passengers.
The special drive was conducted in several important trains on the Kharagpur–Howrah and Kharagpur–Balasore sections, including trains 12809, 12074, 12073, 12841, 12703, 12704, 22504, 22503, 12828, 12860, 12833, 12813 and others. Surprise checks were carried out on board as well as at key stations.
A Fortress Check was organized at Sankrail, Andul, and Kharagpur stations, where incoming and outgoing suburban train services were thoroughly checked. In addition, shuttling checks were conducted between Kharagpur and Panskura to penalize ticketless travellers.
Key Results of the Operation:
184 cases of passengers travelling without valid or irregular tickets were detected.
A total penalty of ₹99,555 was realized under provisions of the Railways Act.
The drive was conducted under the close supervision of senior railway officials with active participation from Ticket Checking Staff and Commercial Inspectors.
The Railway Administration has appealed to all passengers to always travel with proper and valid tickets and to cooperate in maintaining a fair system. It has also stated that such special drives will continue across Kharagpur Division to prevent revenue leakage and discourage malpractices.
