खड़गपुर मंडल में पीआरएस काउंटरों पर आकस्मिक जांच तथा विशेष सघन टिकट जांच अभियान तेज

पारदर्शिता बढ़ाने, अनियमितताओं पर रोक लगाने तथा यात्रियों को बेहतर सेवाएं सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे के खड़गपुर मंडल द्वारा पीआरएस (Passenger Reservation System) काउंटरों पर विशेष सघन एवं आकस्मिक जांच की जा रही है, विशेषकर ओपनिंग डे के समय तथा तत्काल बुकिंग अवधि के दौरान।
ये आकस्मिक निरीक्षण संबंधित स्टेशनों पर वाणिज्य निरीक्षकों की टीमों द्वारा रेलवे सुरक्षा बल के सहयोग से किए गए। जांच के दौरान बुकिंग गतिविधियों की गहन निगरानी की गई, ताकि अनधिकृत एजेंटों/दलालों की संलिप्तता को रोका जा सके तथा निर्धारित नियमों का सख्ती से पालन सुनिश्चित किया जा सके।
अभियान के अंतर्गत यात्रियों द्वारा जमा किए गए रिक्विजिशन पर्चियों की विस्तृत जांच की गई तथा लाइन में खड़े व्यक्तियों के पहचान पत्रों का सत्यापन भी किया गया, ताकि बुकिंग की वास्तविकता सुनिश्चित हो सके तथा प्रॉक्सी बुकिंग या तत्काल सुविधा के दुरुपयोग को रोका जा सके। अधिकारियों ने यह भी सुनिश्चित किया कि आरक्षण सुविधा का लाभ केवल वास्तविक यात्रियों को ही मिले और इसमें किसी प्रकार के बिचौलियों का हस्तक्षेप न हो।
बुकिंग स्टाफ को भी उच्च मांग की अवधि के दौरान पारदर्शिता, दक्षता एवं नियमों के अनुपालन को बनाए रखने हेतु आवश्यक निर्देश दिए गए।
इसी के साथ-साथ मंडल द्वारा मेल/एक्सप्रेस तथा लोकल ट्रेनों के साथ-साथ रोड साइड स्टेशनों पर सघन टिकट जांच अभियान भी चलाया गया। टिकट जांच कर्मचारियों ने RPF कर्मियों के साथ मिलकर बिना टिकट यात्रा, अनधिकृत प्रवेश तथा अन्य अनियमितताओं पर अंकुश लगाने हेतु सघन जांच की।
दिनांक 15 अप्रैल 2026 को चलाए गए इस अभियान के दौरान 1118 मामलों में बिना टिकट/अनियमित टिकट यात्रा पाए जाने पर कुल ₹7,34,055/- का जुर्माना वसूला गया।
ये समन्वित प्रयास रेलवे राजस्व की सुरक्षा, यात्रियों की सुविधा में वृद्धि तथा अनुशासित और सुरक्षित यात्रा वातावरण को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से किए जा रहे हैं। खड़गपुर मंडल ने पुनः अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई है कि वह निष्पक्ष एवं पारदर्शी सेवाएं सुनिश्चित करने के लिए ऐसे अभियान नियमित
रूप से जारी रखेगा।
Special Intensive & Surprise Checks at PRS Counters and Ticket Checking Drives Intensified in Kharagpur Division
Kharagpur, 16.04.2026:
In a sustained effort to enhance transparency, curb malpractices, and ensure improved passenger service, Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway is carrying out special intensive and surprise checks at PRS (Passenger Reservation System) counters, particularly during Opening Day hours and Tatkal booking timings.
The surprise inspections were conducted by teams of Commercial Inspectors in various stations under their jurisdiction in coordination with RPF staff. During the checks, close monitoring of booking activities was undertaken to prevent the involvement of unauthorized agents/touts and to ensure strict adherence to prescribed procedures.
As part of the drive, requisition slips submitted by passengers were thoroughly scrutinized, and identity cards of persons standing in queue were also verified to ensure genuineness of bookings and to discourage proxy bookings or misuse of Tatkal facilities. Officials ensured that reservation facilities are utilized fairly by genuine passengers without interference from middlemen.
Necessary guidance was also provided to booking staff to maintain transparency, efficiency, and compliance with rules during ticket issuance, especially during high-demand periods.
Simultaneously, the division has intensified ticket checking drives across several Mail Express and local train services as well as roadside stations under its jurisdiction. Ticket checking staff, accompanied by RPF personnel, conducted rigorous inspections to curb ticketless travel, unauthorized entry, and other irregularities. The division has realised Rs. 7,34,055 as penalty amount from 1118 cases of without ticket or irregular ticket travelling on 15th April 2026.
These coordinated efforts aim to safeguard railway revenue, enhance passenger convenience, and promote a disciplined and lawful travel environment. Kharagpur division reiterated its commitment to ensure fair and transparent services. Such surprise checks and enforcement drives will continue to be conducted regularly.
