Kharagpur, Kharagpur’s educational institute and GRP have put forward their cooperation for corona relief. IIT Director Prof. V.K Tiwari said that a grant of Rs 1 crore has been given in the PM Care Fund in collaboration with academic, non-academic employees and associates of IIT.

Here, Kharagpur college’s  total 51 teaching & non teaching staff donated in  Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. kharagpur college principal handed over a cheque of two lakh eight thousand one hundred rupees in the hands of Kharagpur sdo Vaibhav Chaudhary. On this occasion, Principal Bidyut Samanta said that on the appeal of the Chief Minister and the Education Minister, an amount was given for corona relief. prof Ranjit Biswas, Prof. Mandal Saha, Dr. Vikas Ghosh and Biswajit Malakar and others were present. earlier about 150 bottles of hand sanitizer were also given to sdo by the college.
