Kharagpur, Glocal Hospital near Kansavati Bridge in Medinipur town was inaugurated today as Corona Hospital by Girish Chandra Bera, CMOH, West Medinipur district. Bera said that the level-2 level patient will be treated at Glocal hospital, those patients who get positive results will be treated, while the level-1 will be treated in Ayush Hospital. He said that the private hospital Glocal has the facility of dialysis, ccu etc, so this hospital has been selected, besides the former hospital staff, doctors, nurses and technicians, paramedical staff, etc., will be given by the state government.
He hoped that now the patient would not need to be taken to Belleghata. He said that three people from the same family of Daspur have been found positive, while there is a negative report of the young man’s mother, yet he will be examined as a precautionary, so he has been kept in the hospital. Corona patients from Jhargram district would be treated in st.joseph hospital medinipur. There will not be isolation ward for corona patients in other govt. hospital,Isolation wards will be in Ayush Hospital.
Kharagpur town police today seized 2 cars including 30 motorcycles, SDPO Sukmal Kanti Das Kharagpur told that vehicles have been seized under MV Act. 16 people have been found corona positive so far, in East and West Medinipur districts.
