SERMC द्वारा मेगा गेट मीटिंग का आयोजन, रनिंग स्टाफ की समस्याओं पर उठी जोरदार आवाज
दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे मेन्स कांग्रेस (SERMC), खड़गपुर मंडल की डिविजनल रनिंग स्टाफ शाखा द्वारा एक भव्य ‘मेगा गेट मीटिंग’ का आयोजन किया गया। इस बैठक में रेलवे के रनिंग स्टाफ के सामने आने वाली प्रमुख चुनौतियों और उनकी लंबे समय से लंबित मांगों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई। बैठक में 150 से अधिक रनिंग स्टाफ सदस्यों ने भाग लिया, जिससे यह आयोजन बेहद सफल रहा।
प्रमुख मुद्दे और चर्चा
मीटिंग का मुख्य उद्देश्य रनिंग स्टाफ की ज्वलंत समस्याओं को उजागर करना था। चर्चा के दौरान काम के लंबे घंटे (Long Working Hours), बकाया ओवरटाइम (OT) भुगतान, स्पाउस ग्राउंड (Spouse Ground) और ऑन रिक्वेस्ट (Own Request) ट्रांसफर जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर बात हुई। इसके साथ ही, आगामी 8वें वेतन आयोग (8th CPC) के लिए सुझावों पर भी विचार-विमर्श किया गया।

इस कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में SERMC के महासचिव (GS) और NFIR के सहायक महासचिव (AGS) श्री एस. आर. मिश्रा उपस्थित थे। उनकी उपस्थिति ने कर्मचारियों का मनोबल बढ़ाया।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य वक्ता, SERMC के संयुक्त महासचिव (JGS) और जोनल को-ऑर्डिनेटर रनिंग स्टाफ (SER), श्री बाबू भट्टाचार्य रहे। उन्होंने एक ओजस्वी और प्रेरणादायक भाषण दिया, जिसमें उन्होंने प्रशासन से स्टाफ की समस्याओं को जल्द से जल्द सुलझाने की मांग की। उनके भाषण ने वहां मौजूद सभी कर्मचारियों में नया जोश भर दिया।
इस मेगा गेट मीटिंग की सफलता और बड़ी संख्या में रनिंग स्टाफ की उपस्थिति ने यह साबित कर दिया है कि कर्मचारी अपने अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूक और एकजुट हैं।

Kharagpur: The Divisional Running Staff Branch of the South Eastern Railway Men’s Congress (SERMC), Kharagpur Division, successfully organized a ‘Mega Gate Meeting’ to address the pressing concerns of the railway running staff. The event saw a massive turnout, with over 150 running staff members from the division in attendance.
Key Issues Discussed
The meeting focused on several critical challenges faced by the staff. Major topics of discussion included the burden of long working hours and the clearance of pending Overtime (OT) dues. The union also addressed matters regarding transfer policies, specifically ‘Spouse Ground’ and ‘Own Request’ transfers. Additionally, valuable suggestions were gathered regarding the upcoming 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
Leadership and Speeches
The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Sri S. R. Mishra (General Secretary, SERMC & Assistant General Secretary, NFIR), whose participation boosted the morale of the attendees.
The highlight of the meeting was the address by the main speaker, Sri Babu Bhattacharjee (Joint General Secretary, SERMC & Zonal Co-ordinator, Running Staff/SER). He delivered a fierce and inspiring speech, urging unity among the staff and demanding swift resolutions to their grievances.
