Kharagpur, A colourful Passing Out Parade of Railway Protection Force Sub Inspector Cadets was held at RPF Zonal Training Institute, Kharagpur on friday D B Kasar, IG-cum-Principal Chief Security Commissioner, South Eastern Railway was the Chief Guest at the Passing Out Parade. soeaking to press D B Kasar said we are habituated to work in different situation. our jawans performed well their duty in this pandemic we have participated in awareness camp if the passenger would coperate by wearing mask & maintaining social distance safe travel is possible. Manoranjan Pradhan, Divisional Railway Manager kharagpur congratulated jawans for their successful completion of training. some other Senior Railway Officers were also present on the occasion.
Altogether 434 Sub Inspector cadets participated in the passing out parade today after successful completion of 9 months of rigorous training. The zone wise allotment is as under NCR-20, WR-48, WCR -14 , SWR -16, SR-42, SECR-10 SCR-26, NWR-12, NR-79, NFR-15, NER-26, ECR-19, E.Co.R-06, ER-27, CR-29, SER-45. They reported for training at Zonal Training Institute, Kharagpur being directed by Railway Board. Cadets are from all states of the country and deputed to all zonal railways. Inspite of COVID-19 pandemic, the training has been completed as per schedule maintaining social distancing and other guidelines issued by Central and State Govt. from time to time. There were Range Classification, indoor and outdoor examinations during the final examination taken by the Examination Committee constituted by Railway Board.
After the passing out parade, events like commando show, jumping show, cross sword, tiles breaking, bullet show etc. were conducted. Shri D B Kasar, IG-cum-Principal Chief Security Commissioner, South Eastern Railway also inaugurated a Rain Harvesting Project at RPF Zonal Training Institute, Kharagpur today in presence of other dignitaries. The entire Passing Out Parade and the different shows were live streamed through different social media for viewing of cadets’ guardians, relatives and others.
