Kharagpur, National Human Welfare Organization (NHWO) distributed emergency relief to the Yaas victim people of different villages around Tajpur sea coast of Purba Medinipur district. Dry food such as muri, chira, cake, biscuit, chanachur, bread, sattoo along with drinking water were distributed among almost 800 people of the area this day. Members of NHWO present at this activity were : Aziz Usmani, National Secretary,Islam Shah, Youth President, West Bengal, Sk. Sarafat, Joint Secretary,W.B., Dinu Roy, Working President, W.B.,Sakil Shah,Vice president, W.B., Jiaur Rahaman,Working President ,Purba Medinipur & Sandeep Dutta, a Teacher and a social worker. A whole hearted support was rendered by Shyamapada Mahapatra,Executive President,W.B. and Chandan Kumar Mahal , Coordinator of West Bengal Board. Aziz Usmani, National Secretary of NHWO has delivered his comment that- “ every human being should stand by the cyclone victims in such a crucial moment. That is why we have distributed dry foods, drinking water and baby food among the people. More services will be rendered in future on behalf of this organization till the situation normalizes. “
‘People from different parts of the society should stand by the cyclone victims irrespective of caste, creed, religion and political ideology’- he added.
He gave a clarion call to the civic society to help the victims in deep crisis for the sake of mankind. The cyclone victim people are very happy and thankful by such initiative of NHWO.
