बच्चों ने दिखाए खेल हुनर, केंद्रीय विद्यालय क्र.1 भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान खड़गपुर का खेल दिवस आयोजित,

 

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय आईआईटी खड़गपुर में  52वीं  वार्षिक खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता व  वार्षिक खेल  दिवस का आयोजन किया गया । जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि श्री ए० के सिंह ( अध्यक्ष जिमखाना आईआईटी खड़गपुर ) थे विशिष्ट अतिथि श्री सत्य प्रकाश कृष्ण (पूर्व रणजी क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी) तथा श्री अमजद अली खान (फुटबॉल खिलाड़ी मोहम्मडन स्पोर्टिंग क्लब कोलकता) उपस्थित थे ।

     प्रात: 9 बजे कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ हुआ प्राचार्य श्री संतोष कुमार बल ने ग्रीन पॉट, कैप और बेज प्रदान कर अतिथियों का स्वागत किया तथा अपने स्वागत भाषण में अतिथि परिचय व खेलकूद की उपलब्धियों और महत्त्व को बताया । प्राथमिक कक्षाओं के विद्यार्थियों ने स्वागत गान व नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया मुख्य अतिथि के द्वारा खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता की घोषणा की गई तथा मशाल प्रज्वलित कर खेलो की प्रगति का संदेश दिया । 

   विद्यालय की बालिकाओं की द्वारा बासकेट बॉल नृत्य, पंजाबी व जिमनास्तिक नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया गया।

प्राथमिक विभाग की विभिन्न खेल प्रतियोगिता में लेमन स्पून रेस , थ्री लेग रेस, बालक बालिका की विभिन्न आयु वर्ग में रिले रेस , फ्रोग रेस, शिक्षक और अभिभावकों की दौड़ प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया। 

    विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं में प्रथम, द्वितीय, और तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले सभी विद्यार्थियों को मुख्य अतिथि और विशिष्ट अतिथि और आचार्य की द्वारा मेडल और प्रमाण पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया।   

अतिथियों के आशीर्वचन और शुभकामनाओं के बाद उपआचार्य श्री चंद्र शेखर सिंह ने कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में प्रत्यक्ष और और अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से योगदान देने वाले सभी का धंयवाद किया।

संपूर्ण प्रतियोगिताओं का सफल आयोजन  शारीरिक शिक्षा शिक्षक श्री पी के  दे और पल्लव बक्सी की देखरेख में हुआ.

Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Kharagpur, 24 January: The Annual Sports Day was organised with great zeal in Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, IIT Kharagpur today. More than 500 students from all the classes participated in the event. The program was inaugurated by chief guest, Prof. A.K Singh, President, Gymkhana, IIT Kharagpur. Mr. Satya Prakash Krishna, Ranji Cricket player, and Mr. Amjad Ali Khan, Mohammedan Sporting Club Kolkata, were also present during the programme as guest of honour and special guest respectively.

The programme started with the chief guest and dignitaries receiving guard of honour by the prefect Scouts and Guides of the School followed by lightening the torch by 26 KVS National level participants and gold-winners and Kendriya Vidyalaya flag hoisting. Venue Principal Mr. S.K. Bal formally welcomed the eminent guests. The most intriguing aspect, embellishing the event was the splendid field displays such as welcome song, Volleyball dance, shoe race, spoon race and other athletic events, which splattered on the field, rendered the spectators speechless. This was followed by track events including 4X100 relay race for both boys and girls for secondary and senior secondary classes, 100 m race for boys and girls. Special attraction was an 80mts race by parents and teachers. The prizes were distributed to all the winners by the venue principal Mr.SK Bal and the dignitaries present in the event. The event was hosted beautifully by the students of secondary section. The PE teacher Mr. PK Dey coordinated all sports events and the vote of thanks was proposed by the venue vice-principal Mr. Chandrasekhar Singh.
