खड़गपुर डिवीजन ने कल पिछले साल के 25.34 मीट्रिक टन माल लदान के आंकड़े को पार कर लिया है। इस वित्तीय वर्ष की समाप्ति में लगभग 1.5 महीने शेष रहते हुए कल डिवीजन ने 25.45 मीट्रिक टन का लदान आंकड़ा हासिल किया है। यह मंडल द्वारा किसी वित्तीय वर्ष में अब तक का सर्वाधिक माल ढुलाई का आंकड़ा है।

डिवीजन ने 12 फरवरी 2023 तक संचयी रूप से 25.46 मीट्रिक टन माल लोड किया है जो पिछले वित्तीय वर्ष की इसी अवधि के दौरान 21.59 मीट्रिक टन के लोडिंग आंकड़े से 17.87% अधिक है। लोडिंग से मंडल को 12 फरवरी 2023 तक 2097.68 करोड़ रुपये की कमाई हुई है, जो पिछले वित्तीय वर्ष में इसी अवधि के दौरान 1704.2 करोड़ रुपये की कमाई से 23% अधिक है।  मंडल ने अब तक का सर्वाधिक प्रतिदिन वैगन लदान का आंकड़ा भी हासिल किया है। पिछले वित्तीय वर्ष के दौरान औसत प्रति दिन वैगन लदान का आंकड़ा 1094 वैगन/दिन था। वर्तमान में मंडल औसतन 1251 वैगन/दिन लदान कर रहा है, जो अब तक का सर्वाधिक है।

माल ढुलाई और आय के अलावा, मंडल ने आय के अन्य सभी क्षेत्रों में असाधारण रूप से अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया है। अप्रैल 2022 से जनवरी 2023 तक, मंडल ने पिछले वर्ष की इसी अवधि के दौरान 4.82 करोड़ यात्रियों की तुलना में 13.56 करोड़ यात्रियों का वहन किया, जो 281.32% की वृद्धि दर्शाता है। यात्री आय वाले खंड में, मंडल ने पिछले वर्ष के दौरान 804.40 करोड़ रुपये की तुलना में 1342.85 करोड़ रुपये कमाए हैं।167% की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई।

पार्सल लोडिंग सेगमेंट में, डिवीजन ने पिछले वर्ष के 106720 टन की तुलना में 138780 टन लोड किया है, जो 130% की वृद्धि दर्शाता है। पार्सल आय में विभाग ने पिछले वर्ष के दौरान रु. 5190.40 लाख की तुलना में 8168.65 लाख रुपये कमाए हैं। 157% की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई।

टिकट चेकिंग आय में रु. 11.90 करोड़ की तुलना में अब तक 57.51 करोड़ की कमाई हुई। पिछले वर्ष के दौरान, 480% की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई।

विविध आय खंड में, डिवीजन ने पिछली अवधि के दौरान 44.93 करोड़ रुपये की तुलना में 144.43 करोड़ रुपये का राजस्व उत्पन्न करके 321% की वृद्धि दर्ज की है।

अन्य कोचिंग आय में केजीपी डिवीजन ने 150.2% की वृद्धि दर्ज की है। पिछली अवधि के दौरान 97.62 करोड़ रुपये की तुलना में जनवरी 2023 तक 146.62 करोड़ की कमाई हुई।

सीनियर डीसीएम खड़गपुर, श्री राजेश कुमार ने इस उल्लेखनीय प्रदर्शन का श्रेय मंडल की व्यवसाय विकास इकाई को दिया हैं, जो सड़क यातायात को रेल यातायात में लाकर अधिक रेलवे राजस्व उत्पन्न करने के लिए अथक प्रयास कर रही है। शाखा अधिकारी और टीम रेलवे में अधिक यातायात लाने के लिए विभिन्न कॉर्पोरेट फर्मों और व्यापार भागीदारों के साथ लगातार बैठकें और सहभागिता कर रहे हैं। उनके प्रयासों के कारण, मंडल ने पिछले सभी लोडिंग रिकॉर्डों को सफलतापूर्वक पार कर लिया है। डिवीजन का लक्ष्य अब वित्तीय वर्ष के अंत तक 30 मीट्रिक टन माल लदान का आंकड़ा हासिल करना है।

 

Kharagpur Division has surpassed last year’s Freight loading figure of 25.34 MT yesterday. The division has achieved the loading figure of 25.45 MT yesterday with almost 1.5 months remaining in this financial year closing. This is the highest ever Freight loading figure achieved by the division in any financial year.

The division has cumulatively loaded 25.46 MT of consignment till 12th Feb. 2023 which is 17.87% more than the loading figure of 21.59 MT during the same period of previous financial year. From the loading, the division has earned Rs. 2097.68 Crores till 12th Feb 2023, which is 23% higher than the earnings of Rs. 1704.2 Cr during the same period in last financial year. The division has also achieved the highest ever per day wagon loading figure. During the last financial year, the average per day wagons loading figure was 1094 wagons/day. Presently the division is loading 1251 wagons/day at an average, which is also the highest ever.

 

Apart from the freight loadings and earnings, the division has also performed exceptionally well in all other earnings segments. From April 2022 to Jan 2023, the division carried 13.56 Crores passengers as compared to 4.82 Crore passengers during the same period of last year, which shows a growth of 281.32%. In the passenger earning segment, the division has earned Rs 1342.85 Crores as compared to Rs. 804.40 Crore during the last year, registering a growth of 167%.

In the Parcel loading segment, the division has loaded 138780 tonnes as compared to 106720 tonnes of the last year, which shows a growth of 130%. In parcel Earnings, the division has earned Rs. 8168.65 Lakhs as compared to 5190.40 Lakhs during the last year. A growth of 157%.

In ticket checking earnings, revenue of Rs. 57.51 Crores were earned till now as compared to 11.90 Cr. During the previous year, registering a growth of 480%.

In sundry Earnings segment, the division has registered a growth of 321%  by generating a revenue of Rs. 144.43 Cr as compared to Rs. 44.93 Cr during the last period.

In other coaching earnings, KGP division has registered a growth of 150.2% By generating a revenue of Rs. 146.62 Cr upto Jan 2023 as compared to Rs 97.62 Cr during the previous period.

Sr.DCM Kharagpur, Shri Rajesh Kumar gives the credit of the remarkable performance to the Business Development Unit of the division, which is working tirelessly to generate more railway revenue by bringing the Road traffic to Rail Traffic. The Branch officers and the team are continuously conducting meetings and engagements with various corporate firms and business partners for bringing more traffic to railway. Due to their efforts, the division has successfully surpassed all the previous loading records.

The Division now aims to achieve 30 MT freight loading figure by the end of the financial year.
