खड़गपुर स्टेशन में जल्द खुलेगा आधुनिक फूड प्लाजा, होगा शौचालय व वेटिंग हाल का आधुनिकीकरण

 

खड़गपुर स्टेशन के प्लेटफार्म संख्या 1 व 2 के बीच स्थित फूड प्लाजा का आधुनिकीकरण किया जा रहा है व जल्द ही यह यात्रियों के लिए खुलेगा। आईआरसीटीसी ने प्लाजा का ठेका गोयल एंड गोयल कंपनी को दी है। ज्ञात हो कि बीते दिनों खड़गपुर के डीआरएम ने खड़गपुर स्टेशन का दौरा किया व प्लाजा में हो रहे कार्यों का जायजा लिया व 16 फरवरी तक प्लाजा खोलने की बात कही है सूत्रों के अनुसार कार्य जोर शोर से है व जल्ह ही प्लाजा का उद्घाटन होगा।

सीनियर डीसीएम ने बताया कि खड़गपुर स्टेशन के कुल तीन शौचालयों का भी आधुनिकी करण किया जाएगा। इसके अलावा रोशनी में बढौतरी के लिए लाईट्स की संख्या में इजाफा , प्लेटफॉर्म 1-2 व प्लेटफॉर्म 3-4 के पे एंड यूज शौचालयों का अधुनिकीकरण , पूरे प्लेटफॉर्म की स्वच्छता व साफ-सफाई में बढौतरी एवं द्वितीय श्रेणी के प्रतिक्षालय की सुविधाओं मे बढौतरी आदि शामिल है। “रेल सूत्रों से मिली जामकारी के मुताबिक अमृतभारत योजना के तहत द.पू.रेल के खड़गपुर व शालीमार सहित कुल 19 स्टेशन एयरपोर्ट के तर्ज पर विकसित किए जाएंगे. इससे यात्री सुविधा में होने वाली उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि का कयास लगाया जा रहा बेशक इसे मूर्त रुप देने में कुछेक वर्ष का समय लग सकता है लेकिन तब तक रुटिन अनुसार जहां तक संभव हो स्टेशन में सारे अनिवार्य सुधार व सफाई बहाल की जाएगी एवं द्वितीय श्रेणी के प्रतिक्षालय में जहां आरामदेह सीटों की संख्या बढाई जाएगी व सोफे लगाए जाएंगे वहीं सुरक्षा के नजरिए से सीसीटीवी कैमरे भी लगेंगे . पर्याप्त रोशनी एवं चाक-चौबंद स्वच्छता की भी व्यवस्था की जाएगी . सीनीयर डीसीयम राजेश कुमार ने कहा – “अमृतभारत परियोजना के तहत विकसित किए जाने के दौरान , स्टेशनों की सर्कुलेटिंग एरिया में भी रद्दोबदल होगी परंतु फिलहाल यात्रियों की समस्याएं सर्वप्रथम समाधान की जाएगी . इस बावत यात्रियों की राय लिए जाने पर अधिकांश यात्री स्टेशन के भीतर शुद्ध-स्वच्छ वाटर वेंडिग मशीन एवं मोबाईल चार्जिंग पॉयन्ट की मांग रखी।

ज्ञात हो कि खड़गहपुर रेल मंडल को गोपीनाथ नीलिगिरी व सुतेईबडगांव नामक दो हाल्ट बनाया जा रहा है। उकत हाल्ट में मिट्टी भरने को लेकर हो रहे खुदाई में जेसीबी विवाद को लेकर रेलवे का कहना है कि खुदाई रेल की जमीन पर की जा रही थी व मीडिया में रेल की जेसीबी होने की जो खबर आई है व भी भूल है क्योंकि कार्य ठेके पर है व मशीन ठेकेदार का है। डीआरएम के नेतृत्व में बीते दिनों रेल प्रशासन की टीम ने उक्त निर्माणाधीन स्टेशनों का दौरा किया। .

In reference to the news article regarding the seizure of JCBs, Kharagpur Division refuted the  news remarking factually incorrect.

Rly stated The transportation of the railway construction materials was done from the Railway land and as per rules. The construction work of the two new stations i.e. Gopinathpur Nilgiri and Sutei BADAGAN are nearing completion, the work of clearing the debris and unwanted material from the railway land is done on priority basis, and for this reason the wagons are being used for the said purpose.

Kharagpur Division is working on a mission mode to start the passenger services in this new section as soon as possible, the construction work of the stations, platforms, booking offices are nearly completed, the rest works are also being monitored in top priority.

The action done by the state govt in a hastily nature is unnecessary and unwanted. No rules and regulations were overlooked while transporting the material by railway from its own land. This kind of action will not only hamper the working progress but also create hindrance in the public welfare efforts made by the railways. State govt should have consulted with the railway authorities before taking any such one sided action that will hamper the developmental works of railways
