खड़गपुर, खड़गपुर आक्सफोर्ड कांवेंट हाई स्कुल के प्राचार्य तारक नाथ दुबे ने kgpnews.in से भेंटवार्ता में कहा कि स्कुल में एलकेजी से लेकर बंगाल बोर्ड तक की पढ़ाई व परीक्षा के लिए एडमिशन जारी है। उन्होने बताया कि स्कुल के ड्राप आउट बच्चे भी माध्यमिक परीक्षा के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन करा सकते हैं।

ज्ञात हो कि शहर के तेलुगु भाषी स्कुल जहां पहले अंग्रेजी माध्यम से बोर्ड परीक्षा देने की अऩुमति थी उसे निरस्त कर दिया गया है जिससे सैकड़ों बच्चे ड्राप आउट बो गए हैं ऐसे बच्चे माध्यमिक के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन करा सकते हैं। दुबे ने बताया कि स्कुलमें कंप्यूटर के अलावा अऩ्य क्राफ्ट वर्क भी सिखाए जाते हैं। उन्होने कहा कि पार्षद व सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता या नगरपालिका के लिटरेसी विभाग से जुड़े लोगों की सिफारिश से फीस में 50 फीसदी तक की छूट उपलब्ध है।
