Kharagpur Division of SER, for the first time ever has awarded the contract for Playing of Advertisement Jingles through Passenger Announcements System at 16 nos. of stations of this division (viz. Shalimar, Tikiapara, Santragachi, Andul, Bauria, Uluberia, Bagnan, Mecheda, Panskura, Digha, Kharagpur, Midnapur, Jhargram, Ghatsila, Hijli & Balasore) with duration of maximum of 20-seconds each will be announced before and after Train arrival/departure announcements in the existing Passenger announcement system.
The contract of the same is acquired by NINJA MEDIA CREATIONS-CHENNAI for 05 years, with an annual license fee of Rs. 8.05 Lakhs per annum. The total contract value will be Rs. 47,49,500 for 16 stations.
This contract is for the integration of NTES with IPIS to automate train arrival time & live tracking of Trains & also automatically fetch Coach Position data from CRIS in PA system for train information & Coach Position announcements. This system is also integrated with Cloud technology to send important railway information across all station from a single dashboard. The software for commercial advertisements (Jingles) will be provided by the licensee at his own cost and it will be compatible to the existing passenger announcement system at the stations.
This new initiative will also give boost to the Non Fare Revenue Earnings of the division. The Railways will also save the huge costs towards the procurement and maintenance of Infrastructure and Hardware/software.
Sr. DCM Kharagpur, Shri Rajesh Kumar said that the division is focusing on revenue generation through non-conventional and innovative schemes which will be beneficial for both the rail users as well as the railways. खड़गपुर मंडल ने पहली बार यात्री घोषणा प्रणाली के माध्यम से 16 स्टेशनों पर विज्ञापन जिंगल बजाने का अनुबंध किया है। इस मंडल के स्टेशनों (शालीमार, टिकियापारा, संतरागाछी, आंदुल, बाउड़िया, उलुबेरिया, बागनान, मेचेदा, पंसकुरा, दीघा, खड़गपुर, मिदनापुर, झारग्राम, घाटशिला, हिजली और बालासोर) पर अधिकतम 20-सेकंड की अवधि के साथ मौजूदा पैसेंजर अनाउंसमेंट सिस्टम में ट्रेन के आगमन/प्रस्थान की घोषणा से पहले और बाद में घोषणा की जायेगी ।
यह अनुबंध निंजा मीडिया क्रिएशन्स-चेन्नई द्वारा 05 वर्षों के लिए अधिग्रहण किया गया है, जिसका वार्षिक लाइसेंस शुल्क रु 8.05 लाख प्रति वर्ष होगा । 16 स्टेशनों के लिए कुल अनुबंध मूल्य 47,49,500 रुपये होगा।
यह अनुबंध आईपीआईएस के साथ एनटीईएस के एकीकरण के लिए है ताकि ट्रेन आगमन समय और ट्रेनों की लाइव ट्रैकिंग को स्वचालित किया जा सके और ट्रेन की जानकारी और कोच स्थिति घोषणाओं के लिए पीए सिस्टम में सीआरआईएस से स्वचालित रूप से कोच स्थिति डेटा प्राप्त किया जा सके। यह प्रणाली एक ही डैशबोर्ड से सभी स्टेशनों पर महत्वपूर्ण रेलवे सूचना भेजने के लिए क्लाउड तकनीक के साथ भी एकीकृत है। वाणिज्यिक विज्ञापनों के लिए सॉफ्टवेयर (जिंगल्स) लाइसेंसधारी द्वारा अपने खर्चे पर उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा और यह स्टेशनों पर मौजूदा यात्री उद्घोषणा प्रणाली के अनुकूल होगा।
इस नई पहल से मंडल की गैर-किराया राजस्व आय को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। रेलवे इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और हार्डवेयर/सॉफ्टवेयर की खरीद और रखरखाव की भारी लागत को भी बचाएगा
सीनियर डीसीएम खड़गपुर राजेश कुमार ने कहा कि मंडल गैर-परंपरागत और अभिनव योजनाओं के माध्यम से राजस्व सृजन पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रहा है जो रेल उपयोगकर्ताओं के साथ-साथ रेलवे दोनों के लिए फायदेमंद होगा। कोई भी जो अपने अभिनव प्रस्तावों या विचारों के साथ रेलवे के साथ हाथ मिलाना चाहता है, सीनियर डीसीएम केजीपी कार्यालय से संपर्क कर सकता है। उन्होने बताया कि अन्य जोन में य़ह सुविधा पहले से है खड़गपुर रेल मंडल जोन का पहला मंडल व खड़गपुर स्टेशन मंडल का पहला स्टेशन है जहां यह सुविधा शुरु की गई है। उनका कहना है कि पहले हमें मशीन की खरीदा रखरखाव व नियुक्ति करनी पड़ती थी अब सभी कुछ टेंडर लिए संस्थाओं का होगा इसके एवज में वे माइक में विज्ञापन प्रचार करेंगे व हमें राजस्व का फायदा होगा। उन्होने उम्मीद जताया कि ठेकेदार संस्था सेवाओं के मामले में भी बेहतर सेवा दे सकेगी।
