Kharagpur, Md. Shujat hashmi, DRM Kharagpur along with all divisional branch officers today visited the units of Ambuja Cement and RAMCO Cement at Abada and Mecheda respectively.
The main objective of the visit was to figure out the reasons for high detention of rakes at the units and also to have a discussion with the parties to increase the railway traffic from the existing 40% to nearly 75%.
The Railway administration team had a meeting with the respective plants head and discussed various issues and technical problems causing the detention of rakes during loading and unloading of consignments.
Both the parties agreed to increase the mobility of rakes and wagons by phasing out the different issues and factors. Mobility of rakes will ensure higher loading and unloading performance, lower detention of rakes will be beneficial for the railways as well as the parties.
Sr. DCM Kharagpur, Shri Rajesh Kumar informed that the meeting was very fruitful for both the parties. We are expecting higher rail traffic from both the units and we will primarily focus on lowering the detention rates of rakes at the units of Ambuja and RAMCO. The teams will also work to solve the various technical issues as soon as possible.

दौरे का मुख्य उद्देश्य इकाइयों में लोडिंग अनलोडिंग में हो रही देरी से रेक डिटेंशन , को दूर करना और रेलवे यातायात को मौजूदा 40% से बढ़ाकर लगभग 75% करने के लिए कंपनी अधिकारियों के साथ चर्चा करना भी था।
रेलवे प्रशासन की टीम ने संबंधित संयंत्र प्रमुख के साथ बैठक की और माल की लोडिंग और अनलोडिंग के दौरान रेकों के देर तक फंसे होने के कारण विभिन्न मुद्दों और तकनीकी समस्याओं पर चर्चा की।
दोनों पक्षों ने विभिन्न मुद्दों और कारकों को चरणबद्ध तरीके से हटाकर रेक और वैगनों की गतिशीलता बढ़ाने पर सहमति व्यक्त की। रेकों की गतिशीलता उच्च लोडिंग और अनलोडिंग प्रदर्शन सुनिश्चित करेगी, रेकों का कम अवरोधन रेलवे के साथ-साथ कंपनियों के लिए भी फायदेमंद होगा।
सीनियर डीसीएम खड़गपुर, श्री राजेश कुमार ने बताया कि बैठक दोनों पक्षों के लिए काफी लाभदायक रही। हम दोनों इकाइयों से उच्च रेल यातायात की उम्मीद कर रहे हैं और हम मुख्य रूप से अंबुजा और रैमको की इकाइयों में रेक की अवरोधन दरों को कम करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेंगे। टीमें विभिन्न तकनीकी मुद्दों को जल्द से जल्द हल करने के लिए भी काम करेंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि डिटेंशन को कम करने के लिए रेलवे कंपनी की मदद करेगी।

रविवार ,यानि आज हावड़ा पुरी वंदे भारत का तीसरा ट्रायल होगा उम्मीद है कि जल्द ही हावड़ा पुरी वंदे भारत शुरू की जाएगी हालांकि फिलहाल तिथि तय नहीं की गई है ।
