In view of the Jharkhand Bandh called by OLCHIKI HUL BAISI from 9 am onwards on 04.07.23 at Chirugoda Railway Station in KGP – TATA Section, Around 300 agitators had blocked both the UP and DN line at Chirugoda station for non-railway related reasons. Following coaching repercussions happened due to the agitation

Frequent announcements were being made at all stations of the division regarding the disruption of train services due to the public agitation. Adequate food and drinking water were arranged at Panskura, Kharagpur, Hijli, & Chakulia station for the stranded passengers by the Catering stalls available at platforms. Refunds were issued to all the passengers, those who have approached the booking counter at KGP for train no 12021 (HWH-BBN Jan Shatabdi) which is short terminated at KGP.

• The Jharkhand Bandh Agitation for Non Railway Issues at CHIRUGORA Station was withdrawn at 18.00 hrs. Normal Trains Services Resumed in KGP-TATA section.
