रेल महाप्रबंधक ने किया हल्दिया डॉक कांपलेक्स का दौरा, डीएमयू कोच फैक्ट्री का भी निरीक्षण

 

Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager/SER along with DRM Kharagpur Shri K R Chaudhary and other PHODs visited Haldia Dock Complex under Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata (SMPK) on 16.09.2023. The Dy. Chairman of HDC, Shri. A.K. Mehera, welcomed the
visiting guests and briefed them about the Port. He explored the dock basin of HDC on vessel where Dy Chairman, HDC, explained him about
the cargo handling facilities available at the Port and projects in the pipeline. Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, General Manager/SER along with DRM
Kharagpur Shri K R Chaudhary also inspected the DMU Coach Factory, Haldia Port, Sick Line & General Marshalling yard at Haldia on
16.09.2023. A meeting was also held at Jawahar tower of Haldia Dock Complex with
Deputy Chairman/Haldia Dock complex where initiatives were discussed for further strengthening the railway link between Port and S.E. Railway which will expedite the delivery of rail borne cargo to and from the Port and benefit the Importers and Exporters. Sri A K Mishra took cognizance of the requirements placed by HDC, SMPK and has assured to extend
full support.

SWACHHTA PAKHWADA – Swachh Samwad (Cleanliness dialogues)

Kharagpur Division is observing Swachhata Pakhwada from
16th September, 2023 to 2nd October, 2023 with a view to culminate it with
the celebration of Mahatma Gandhi’s Jayanti. In connection with that,
various activities are being carried out at all railway stations, colonies and
railway establishments to promote hygiene and cleanliness.
On 16th September, 2023, A Prabhat Pheri was organised from Rail
Niwas to Kharagpur Railway station followed by Nukkad Natak at station
circulating area and Shramdaan at station area. The employees also took
oath to maintain cleanliness at workplace and pledge to remain committed
towards cleanliness and devote time for this.
The theme of 2nd day of Swachhata Pakhwada is Swachh Samwad.
Various activities, such as a seminar on sanitation and upkeep of railway
stations, displaying of Anti- littering notices in all institutions on railway
premises like railway colonies, Rest housesड & Dormitories, running rooms,
Hospital, Health Units & schools, and creating awareness for promoting
paperless ticketing mode for travelling are being organised throughout the
division.
Clean Railway stations can be the reflection of a Clean Nation
